"We were group of family and friends stayed in the house. We were bit dissapointed by the property mainly due to:1. The full house is not together but in 2 different section bit detached to each other. This means that everyone cannot stay together in the same house, which was not expected by us and was not even clear in the description of the property.2. The property is in middle of nowhere. It was a kind of ghost village.3. The property is bit different to what it shows in picture.Overall, not a good experience."

"We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. "A stunning house in a great character full town! The property catered for all our needs, especially with 9 kids ranging from 3 to 16. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very helpful which made the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Excideuil is a beautiful town with great shops and there are a number of lovely restaurants in both the town and the surrounding area. The market on Thursday is also superb. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a relaxing break away. Thank you."

"Mr. Antoine gave us a full tour of the entire place emphasizing on the cleanliness of everything, even, moving couches and beds for us to check the cleanliness. The place is spotless and pretty modern. They invited us for l'apperot after the tour. This rental has everything that one would need for a nice romantic couple's getaways. Mr. and Mrs. Antoine are super nice and accommodating. The Perigord region is beautiful and if you love eating duck like I do, you'll be in paradise. We'll definitely come back but this time with friends. This was truly the Perfect Stay."

"Bedroom was acceptable but property lacking care and attention - surrounding garden area was overgrown with weeds. Breakfast was dreadfull and well overpriced! Manager attitude was far from hospitable. Don’t recommend at any price!"

"Location was perfect and check in and parking we're easy. It's an old building which has been tastefully decorated. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Great shower. Would have liked and egg with breakfast. "
