"The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. The only things lacking are WiFi and a washing machine but we knew this when we booked. After our days out we relaxed, dined and watched the sunset in the beautiful garden. Communication with Olivier and Emmanuelle was excellent too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again if we return to the area."

"Séjour agréable et reposant. Pas de surprise la maison est bien agencée. Elle est située a 15 mn du zoo et de nombreux châteaux a visiter en 30mn. De nombreux activités à faire en famille au bord du lac."

"The owner Jeanne-Claire is absolutely lovely and wants everything to be as easy, comfortable and relaxing as possible for her guests. She was so helpful and responsive every time we needed anything and it was a always a pleasure to chat and find out about the chateau and it’s history and the area. "The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"This house was perfect for a group with multiple families, with each room having its own bathroom. Also, lounge and kitchen areas were sizeable. Excellent kitchen facilities and ample cutlery and crockery as well as 2 dishwashers - made a huge difference not having to worry about running out of anything. "We stayed in this house for 5 nights. The property is awesome and as advertised. There is a large yard with all the necessary amenities. The property was clean and well stocked. Many activities are within an hour drive. The property is very quite and secluded, ideal for a get away. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back."

"This is an historic and beautiful property, and ideal for a family group. The swimming pool is excellent and very secure. The area is quiet and peaceful and lends itself to a safe and relaxing holiday. The hosts are very accommodating and to have a local point of contact was very helpful. Our stay was much enjoyed by every one of the 20 of us!"
