We had high expectations about this property because of the location where fancy boutique hotels, cafes, bars, and restaurants are located. However, our experience from the time we checked in until our departure was such a nightmare. First of all the facility was understaffed due to low season, but the property used this as an excuse for failing to provide even the most basic services. There was mismanagement on many levels which made our stay extremely unpleasant. At one point they decided to do gardening, cutting branches off trees, cleaning the pool while we were trying to enjoy the last bit of nice weather in calm October. Our unit should have been prepared before our arrival. They ignored our complaints saying the gardening was outsourced and we had to abide by the gardening company's schedule. The pool wasn't clean when we checked in and it got even worse when workers moved around trash spilling on the water. The most disappointing part was when we wanted to checkout the owner requested our IDs and personal information for marketing purposes. We had presented our IDs at the time of checkin and I tried to explain we had no obligation to share any further personal information especially when we're treated horribly in our entire stay. Despite all this mess and mismanagement, I tried to be as collaborative as I can but when the owner tried to grab my ID unlawfully I said I was calling the district attorney. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had unfortunately.
