The drive straight down the mountain to a slightly closer town Celorico de Basto is not for the faint hearted, and was not repeated. The place is as in the pictures and whilst we didnt use the pool it looks fab and the hot tub was ideal. The local restaurant was very welcoming and the nearby old bridge could hsve been a scene out of Brigadoon..... fantastic.
