The best experience
We celebrated our 40th birthday here with our family and friends (including about 7 children) and we all had the most amazing time. The villa is stunning - the pictures don't do it justice! We were there at end of October/early November and were able to use the heated pool every day which was a treat. the location is perfect - up in the hills and within 15 mins drive to a supermarket and any other amenities in Certaldo. Also within close driving distance to lovely towns to explore. Enzo was SO helpful in the planning process, putting us in touch with chefs for private dinners at the villa, cooking classes and local sites/restaurants/activities for kids. He was super responsive and went above and beyond to help and make our stay the best it could be. Honestly I can't recommend enough and will be back here for sure! Thank you Enzo!

Perfect stay in Tuscany Hills
We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Belsole for a week in late August. The house worked out a very good option for our group of 5 adults and 4 children. Plenty of space to spread out. The pool was a perfect size and nicely situated in the garden close to the house. The surrounding are so beautiful and peaceful. A great base to explore surrounding towns like Florence, Siena, Pisa and San Gimignano.

LOVE this place, GO GO GO!
I'm almost at a loss for words. I say this because I don't think there's ever been a time in my life where anybody had to press me for my thoughts or opinions on any subject. I'm simply not sure where to start or where to stop. Here's what you need to know, this was an amazing experience.! Our hosts were fantastic! Cristina & Enzo made sure everything went smoothly. The house, the grounds, the facilities and the pool were perfect. We had 17 people with three chefs amongst our guests and we literally threw down and cooked huge meals and we all sat at the dinning room table together. They have two places to grill and an outdoor pizza oven. We used all of it. I think the only thing we didn’t do was to play ping pong. Certaldo is a great location that offers the opportunity to do day trips so many wonderful hilltop towns in Tuscany. You can get to San Gimignano in 30 minutes, you can get to Florence in 45 minutes to an hour, you can get to Sienna in 40 minutes and the list goes on and on. It was also a short drive for the trips to the vineyard and to truffle hunting. Every single person in our group was impressed. I would do it all over again without hesitation. If this fits your needs just go for it. To Cristina and Enzo…Grazie!

Lovely Tuscan villa in a very convenient location
The views of rolling Tuscan hills were as glorious as any film of Tuscany provides, the villa housed 14 comfortably with rooms to spare, the kitchen came stocked with everything that was needed to prepare and enjoy large family meals, the pool was as much of a blessing as the AC that covered the entire home, and the access to dining, groceries, cafes and bakery’s in Certaldo was as convenient as being back in the US. The only issue was in communicating with our hosts as their English was better than our Italian. There is so much to see within a days drive that we will hopefully return someday and bounce around to the numerous local vineyards and towns.

Wonderful location to celebrate 30th anniversary
We decided we needed a special spot to celebrate our 30th anniversary with family. Villa Bel Sole didn't disappoint. The views were breath taking and the villa lived up to its description. Each couple had their own room and washroom. The pool was a great refresher after a day of winery tours, cooking class or visiting Pisa or Florence. Rent a car or hire a driver as both of these cities are within a reasonable drive. Enzo graciously stocked the kitchen for us prior to our arrival and when our flight was delayed Enzo and Cristina met our guests on our behalf. Once we arrived it was a piece of Tuscan heaven. The rental process was simple and easy. If you rent during the summer heat ensure you get air conditioning. We didnt heat the pool but didnt feel the need to either; the Tuscan summer sun did it for us. Shirley

The greatest stay in Tuscany
We held our wedding renewal at Villa Belsole and I cannot describe how wonderful the experience was. Enzo and Cristina couldn’t have been more wonderful in assisting us with every detail. Not only is their home stunning and spacious, but Enzo helped with every detail from daily breakfasts, our wedding (catering, flowers, chairs), chef’s dinners, wine tastings and more. We sampled nearly every benefit they offer for our 20 guests (ranging from 65 to 2 years old) and we couldn’t have been more happy. We will absolutely stay again. You MUST stay at this beautiful home!

We rented Villa Belsole after a family wedding in Lucca. All our expectations were more than exceeded. The Villa is even better than the pictures! It had more than enough room for 14 adults and one 21 month old. The villa was decorated beautifully. The home has several living areas that were perfect for the different age groups and has also a billiard table we made use of. The outdoor area was serene. Sitting near the pool is the most beautiful view over rolling hills and vineyards passed Certaldo Alto and all the way to San Gimignano. Enzo is a most gracious host. He was reachable via email for the initial booking and later on any questions we had we answered promptly. We couldn't have asked for more. If you can, Enzo can recommend a private chef - Patricia - we enjoyed her services two nights - Incredible food! We will definitely book again in the future. Amazing Villa, Amazing View
12 of us stayed in this beautiful villa for a week in September! All the rooms were perfectly sized, and the pool area was great. Perfectly located with easy access to San Giminiano, Florence & Pisa, as well as local supermarkets in Certaldo. Enzo was also a great & helpful host who answered all of our questions very quickly. Wow! Incredible villa, in an incredible location. STUNNING😍
From the moment we arrived, the property, the welcome and the service we received when requested was everything we could have wanted and more. A beautiful property, each bedroom just exquisitely decorated all en-suite. We had a chef on two evenings, absolutely delicious Tuscan food and they also made a special effort with a birthday cake for one of the guests, nothing was a problem. The pool and gardens are amazing, you will never get bored of the views. Pool table and table tennis for the teenagers also. The town of Certaldo is lovely with a charming old town in the centre, very picturesque. Thank you to Enzo for being on hand and making our stay so beautiful. 100% worth a stay.

Awesome stay at Villa Belsole
We stayed at the villa for 7 nights in August 2020. The villa itself is stunning, really elegant, the pool area is extremely clean and usable all day long. Nice outdoor shower. Inside everything is clean and tidy, well decorated and is really well appointed. Internet was fast two large TVs one had a home cinema room. We have had a number of stays on this platform in Dubai, USA, France and really this one was excellent. But you know what made it great - Enzo. He’s the landlord. He met us at 1am in the morning for checkin, he’d filled the fridge with pasta, drinks for the kids, sweets and breakfasts for our first morning. My wife lost her handbag in Florence and Enzo met us with a new set of keys. The country is lovely, the villa is great, but it’s people that make all the difference. A lovely chap - so you won’t go wrong. Definitely book up.

Amazing Tuscan Birthday Experience
Villa Besole is truly exceptional! Enzo & Cristina were the best hosts and thought of every detail to make for an amazing birthday for myself and my 17 guests. We were a party of 8 couples and my 82 year old mother-in-law and older sister. I was delayed 6 hours due to issues with my connecting flight and Enzo & Cristina welcomed the guests that arrived earlier with the best hospitality and warmth. We had several dinners hosted at the home with Enzo’s chef which were delicious. We enjoyed the pool, many meals on the patio & the wine was always plentiful. The house was equipped with all the comforts of home. My birthday was phenomenal because Enzo & Cristina managed all the details to perfection. My family and friends could not get enough of the views from the house. We look forward to returning with our children. Certaldo is a beautiful town with great amenities & sites. We enjoyed visiting a local castle with a wine tasting and a local organic farm/winery where we enjoyed a delectable 12 course dinner with wine. In summary, an epic experience!!

Beautiful villa - loves it here!
A beautiful place to relax. The scenery is breathtaking. It’s a very large, beautiful villa with large bedrooms, and living areas. It’s a bit off the beaten path but we had no problem getting out and about. Enzo and Christine are great hosts. We fired off many emails prior to arrival with various requests and questions. Enzo replied promptly every time and accommodated every request and replied patiently to every question. The only suprise we had was at the end of the stay. The electricity cost was much higher than we expected. We were out a lot, turned out lights, didn’t use the air conditioning, and did not heat the pool so we were surprised. Other than that it was a great week.

Amazing authentic Tuscan Villa-
17 of our family stayed here in Celebration of my mom’s 80th. Located close to a town for groceries and supplies as needed. The pool and the views are undescribable. We loved the family room dining room combination where we could relax and commune as a family.

Beautiful Villa near Certaldo
This is a beautiful property- the photos, while beautiful, really do not do justice to the gorgeous view and well-maintained property. Enzo and Christina are lovely and very helpful, and the villa was just perfect for the 6 couples and one child in our group. Each bedroom was comfortable and had it's own bathroom, and the common areas were large and comfortable. The pool was lovely and refreshing. Five stars!

FABULOUS PROPERTY!
We just returned back to Washington DC from our trip to Italy. The biggest portion of the trip was our week in Tuscany, where we stayed at Villa Belsole. We had a group of 14....7 adults, and 7 children (youngest was 10, but most are high school and college aged). We looked through countless listings on VRBO and through our travel agent, and kept coming back to this property because of the location, as well as 9 bedrooms with private baths. The price was very reasonable in comparison to others. We booked it, figuring we might find out some shortcomings when we got there, but deal with it. WOW......we were so pleasantly surprised and happy. The view is spectacular....I told Enzo and Christina they should sell that feature even more on the site. When I saw San Gimignano in the distance, my jaw dropped. Enzo and Christina were welcoming and friendly....great hosts! They supply wine that is good and very reasonable. The rooms and bathrooms were large, and the ladies said the hair dryers worked great! The kitchen could handle us, and the room off the kitchen was fantastic. The villa is very quiet....you can never tell if others are awake and speaking downstairs. The pool was great, and the shaded canopy was our first choice hang out spot....critical in the summer. Although we were not at the doorstep of the major Tuscan towns, they were all an easy (and beautiful) ride away. We took the train from Certaldo into Florence (train station 6-7 minutes away). This villa so exceeded our expectations.....I miss that view!! If we ever return, we will not even look at another listing...we will contact Enzo and figure when it is free. Thank you Enzo and Christina for making this villa a place we will talk about for years to come.

Heaven in Tuscany at Villa Belsole
Beautiful House-Villa with up to date spacious rooms with a beautiful vista on the top of a hill overlooking a valley and in the distance hills and even a distant glance to San Gimignano. The Villa had a lovely heated large pool with a similar awesome view of the area. Appreciated the multiple bedrooms with each a private bathroom with shower. A truly luxury home. A Great Value except for the the fact the web site did not match up with the extra charges which were added on for example water, gas, electricity. True the web site retrospectively did mention extra for Air conditioning which of course a must as well as heated pool. Also, we were suprised by the demand for the extra charges in cash Euros instead of bank transfer as listed in the Web site. Eleanora and Angela who cooked for us for the week for many meals and all breakfasts were lovely people with kind hearts and excellent cooks- another highlight of the experience. I did not mind paying the owners for their services in cash Euros. Enzo and Christina who were the owners were very charming, gracious, and helpful.

Amazing Villa with Idyllic Views!
Our group of 10 stayed very comfortably at Villa Belsole for six nights. The rooms were comfortable and each room had its own bathroom. The location is as idyllic as one can imagine. The view is a treat for the eyes and the owners of the villa were the most wonderful hosts. When we arrived, they had set up a chef's Tuscan Steak dinner for our group. It was delicious and a nice change of pace from eating at restaurants. Dinner was set up in the room that is all glass overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. Upon our arrival, Enzo and Cristina had also kindly done some groceries for us so we could have breakfast the next morning, since they knew we were arriving late and it was holiday. Throughout the week, they were available as needed. Enzo even took one of our boys to play tennis and played ping pong with the kids one night at the villa. The location of the villa was perfect. It took us one hour to get to Florence and one hour to get to Pisa. San Gimignano, Volterra, and Siena were a shorter drive. The villa was very close to the beautiful medieval town of Certaldo. We had a wonderful lunch in Certaldo overlooking the Tuscan countryside. We also visited the nearby Fattoria Il Piano for a wine tasting. There is so much to see and enjoy in this area, we look forward to returning. When we do, we will most definitely stay at the Villa Belsole.

Se avete in mente una cartolina della campagna toscana più bella e sognate di vivere quelle atmosfere magiche, Villa Belsole è il posto che fa per voi. La villa domina l’intera vallata, è assolata dall’alba al tramonto e gode di un panorama mozzafiato. Senza ombra di dubbio la più bella e impressionante proprietà della zona. La villa è grandissima, fornita di tutto, curatissima e molto accogliente. La veranda e la terrazza ne esaltano le caratteristiche. Il proprietario Enzo Belsole è un vero signore e un’ottima persona, ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa e ha fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro soggiorno incantevole. Consigliatissimo!!!

Beautiful villa vacation!
We rented the Villa Belsole for a first time visit to Tuscany. The location was outstanding. It was only a short drive to a shopping center and the town of Certaldo. We visited the towns of San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Florence and Pisa. All of the towns were wonderful and not far from the Villa. The central location was amazing. The Villa was very clean and well appointed. There were 10 people in our party and the Villa was so large we had space for private time and plenty of space for gathering. The decor was beautiful and Tuscan inspired. We all enjoyed the pool. It was so wonderful to cool off after a long day of touring the country side. I cannot say enough about Christina and Enzo. They were so welcoming. We felt at home immediately. They truly wanted us to enjoy the Villa and Tuscany. We certainly did! We hired a chef to cook a meal for us at the Villa and enjoyed it very much. Cristina can help you arrange for the chef. Her English is excellent. It took me several months to decide which Villa to rent. There are many available and sometimes it is overwhelming. I was so pleased with my choice, I would definitely rent this home again. I recommend it highly. Don’t wait too long. It books up fast!

What a Vacation!
This was a wonderful place to stay and relax. It was also great as a home base as we had not been to the Tuscan region and wanted to explore. It was pretty close to all that we wanted to see. The weather was perfect at 78 degrees during the day (October). The kitchen along with all the rooms were surprisingly large and there was enough bathrooms for the 15 of us staying there! My only suggestion would be to bring bug spray as the mosquitos were also loving the villa!

Mi sposto spesso per lavoro e quando mi trovo in zona torno sempre in questa splendida Villa immersa nella natura, ideale per dimenticare lo stress della giornata. Personale accogliente, premuroso e attento ai bisogni dei propri ospiti. Al mio rientro in struttura mi rilasso nella piscina riscaldata godendomi il panorama mozzafiato che mi circonda. A presto, Villa Belsole!

Breve soggiorno in una splendida location
Ho pernottato una sola notte per motivi di lavoro e sono rimasto sorpreso dal fascino di questa splendida Villa, perfetto mix di storia con comfort moderni tra cui un'indimenticabile piscina riscaldata e la possibilità di ricaricare la propria auto elettrica. Tornerò presto per un soggiorno di piacere con la mia famiglia. Assolutamente consigliato!
