"Excellent property grounds with grapevines surrounding us; on site pool, spacious rooms. Only negative is lack of air conditioning or even a ceiling fan / any fan -- this made it challenging to sleep at night in late August; keep that in mind if you are coming from the US and used to lower sleeping temperatures. "This tenuta had great hospitality. The restaurant was a great experience, the presentation and taste of the food was delicious. All staying at this hotel shall try it, the starter, main and dessert, all was fantastic. The room was very clean and very comfortable. It had everything you needed. "This was a great place to stay for touring the area. The rooms are large; the decor is esthetically pleasing. Our room had a lovely balcony and kitchenette/living room area. the breakfasts were varied and good. We ate at the restaurant one night and that was a very good meal as well. "A fantastic little find that is tucked away yet accessible to the whole area. If you want peace, tranquility and a place to relax then this is it. The rooms are simple yet tastefully decorated and provide a great place for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is one of the best I have had in a long time with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries, tea, coffee, juice yoghurt and muesli. This would make a great base for your cycling adventures."
