"We arrived exhausted from our road trip and were thrilled to see a kitchen well stocked to cook our evening meal. We unloaded our bags and were wisked off by Rene's family to take us to the local market for supplies. We ate our first meal ( and many more to come) on the lovely outdoor veranada. "Stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family in Cosenza. House was super clean, spacious and in a great location. Rosanna was an excellent host! Great communication and sent us places to visit, eat and buy groceries. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Rosanna! Beautiful home! "

"My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon, and it was such a special part of our trip! Antonio was incredibly generous and kind, not only did he pick us up from the train station upon arrival, but he also drove us to the airport to get a rental car when our original plan fell through. "Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

"We met with the owners sister who spoke good english and was very nice, so our check in went smoothly. The apartment was beautiful, and the owner went well above standards by furnishing breakfast and coffee. The entire setting up on a hill overlooking the valley and surrounding hills was very beautiful. We highly recommend this property!"

"Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und bei Problemen schafft der Vermieter sofort Abhilfe. Außerdem stand er uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite bei Fragen nach Ausflugszielen, Stränden und Restaurants waren viele gute Tipps dabei, die wir sehr genossen haben. Leider ist die Saison vor Ort spätestens Mitte September vorbei, weshalb das ein oder andere Restaurant und einige Strandbäder schon Anfang September geschlossen hatten."

"Our experience in Belmonte was amazing. The house was charming and very clean. It had everting needed to cook. We loved it. The town is enchanting and the views from the terrace was like something you only see in the movies. It is very peaceful, perfect for reading and doing nothing. My husband did plenty of sketches of the views and our son was inspire and wrote many poems. We are already planning to return in the summer."

"For Gugliermo and I it was like a blanket or a shawl placed on us from our ancestors . We were in the present and past simultaneously. Gabriella and Gianfranco have taken on a Herculean task of reconstructing this charming hillside village home by home. Gianfranco and his brothers grew up there so there souls are one with the commune. The charm and authenticity of each casa is pure and perfect. The dinner Gabriella and Gianfranco made for us will be one we will always remember. Pure Calabrian....
