TrĂšs bel endroit

Une superbe location avec une terrasse qui offre une trĂšs belle vue sur les montagnes. Les propriĂ©taires Ă©taient accueillants et disponibles, tout s’est dĂ©roulĂ© sans problĂšme ! Il faut aimer le calme et le fait d’ĂȘtre excentrĂ© car la ville la plus proche est Ă  20mn mais cela permet de profiter pleinement de la nature environnante :)

Endroit isolĂ© mais idyllique si vous recherchez calme et bien ĂȘtre. Belle battisse avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances. Ce que j'ai particuliĂšrement bien aimĂ© dans ce Mas: La Clef gigantesque pour rentrer dans la Mas La CuisiniĂšre Lacanche ! L'Ă©vier authentique de la cuisine mĂȘme si il est un peu casse pied Ă  vider :) Le BBQ Weber svp qui fonctionne trĂšs bien malgrĂ© son Ăąge. La Terrasse ou il fait vraiment bon vivre midi et soir La grande piscine individuelle est un vrai plus sachant que la plage de la Sana n'est pas si loin en voiture. Collioure n'est Ă©galement qu'Ă  45 minutes si vous souhaitez sortir le soir. Seul bĂ©mol pour en citer un :). => Attention aux moustiques, ils peuvent ĂȘtre vorace sans protection. Equipez vous de spray d'huiles essentielles et tout ira bien. Ce n'est pas non plus la Camargue en terme de Moustiques. Paradis des motards ! Je me suis fais plaisir sur route et petits chemins en Trail.bien sĂ»re. La rĂ©gion est franchement magnifique et pleins de virolos. Excellent SĂ©jour en famille Merci pour tout ! Christophe

Splendid views from this ancient property

The views from mas Carol are simply breathtaking - not a house in site in all directions, just endless forest up to the dramatic ridge of the Spanish border. The woods are quiet and peaceful, and there are marvellous walks from the front door - follow tree forest road up into the mountains till you reach a stream, where after a steep climb on an overgrown local trail you can join the grand randonĂ©e and have incredible views down towards CĂ©ret. The town is very picturesque, with a museum of extremely impressive e quality, and all the necessities. But in the Mas you can enjoy toys solitude. The building is old and impressive, and generally wel-kept, though the kitchen is a little shabby (old, filthy sponges, temperamental cooker, few utensils, not very good quality equipment). It is nicely furnished. The upstairs bathroom (shared) has a lovely big bath. The pool is wonderful, clean, refreshing, and partly shaded by an apple tree. There is a handy gas grill for dinners on the terrace. M and Mme ArmanguĂ© were very kind, and it’s clear that they take pride in what was their family home. The English HomeAway listing lacks some crucial information however, and guests would benefit from its being updated. Namely: - check in is between 15:00 and 19:00 (a narrow window, for those flying from the UK particularly) - check out is at 11:00 - an additional charge of €60 for housecleaning is applied - this must be paid in cash - towels, including hand towels, are not provided If we had had this information it would have prevented some misunderstandings, though our hosts were very accommodating and we would be happy to stay again.

Ein Traum von Haus / una casa de sueños

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, die Besitzer sind sehr nett und alles wurde verstĂ€ndlich erklĂ€rt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber (auch SchrĂ€nke und Schubladen waren perfekt sauber!) auch sehr gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Parkplatz war direkt im Garten. Der gesamte Aufbau des GrundstĂŒcks ist super durchdacht. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sehr gepflegt, die MĂ€dchen hatten richtig Spaß! Unsere Highlight waren die zwei Pferde (von uns liebevoll Heidi und Jacky getauft!) aber auch der Blick von der Terrasse auf die PyrenĂ€en ist bei jeder Mahlzeit ein Traum!! Wir brĂ€uchten 15 min. Bis CĂ©ret, es handelt sich um einen Schotterweg (GelĂ€ndewagen von Vorteil, einen Kombi tut es auch!), mit vielen Möglichkeiten wie Museen, Restaurants, Supermarkt, BĂ€ckerei, usw. Wer Ruhe braucht und Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig, jeden Cent wert. Gerne wieder!!! Gracias Viviane C. R. Es un lugar hermoso con mucho espacio para pasear y estar tranquilo. La piscina es grande y en muy buen estado. Las niñas se han divertido mucho en ella. Nuestros Highlights fueron los dos caballos (las hemos bautizado de Heidi y Jacky) pero tambiĂ©n nos ha encantado todos dĂ­as desayunar con la vista mĂĄs magnĂ­fica asĂ­ a lo Pirineos! El camino hasta CĂ©ret es de 15 min. en coche y es de tierra y piedras, pero muy accesible para todos los tipos de coche. Ceret es una ciudad hermosa con muchas opciones como museos, restaurantes, supermercados, panaderĂ­as, etcĂ©tera. Para quienes necesitan tranquilidad y se sienten bien cerca de la naturaleza este es el lugar perfecto para las vacaciones. Nos ha encantado estar aquĂ­ y volverĂ­amos siempre!! Gracias Viviane C. R.

A beautifully restored farmhouse buried deep in the forest of the Pyrenean foothills.

If you want a totally secluded retreat, surrounded by stunning countryside and within easy reach of an attractive town, this is the perfect place! The evening chorus of the birds, the hooting owls and the dark skies totally devoid of any artificial light were breathtaking. Beware though, the local roads aren't really suited to a large expensive car, better to have an old vehicle you don't mind collecting a few scratches. Our family had a wonderfully relaxing week, exploring the local countryside, climbing some of the local hills and one high peak (about an 1 1/2 hr drive away) and doing very little beside the pool or on the terrace. We also climbed down to the local gorge where organised canyoning trips take place, but these would need prior booking. The farmhouse is very tastefully restored, comfortable and well-equipped (although access to a washing machine would have been welcome as we brought with us a limited number of towels). You do have to know your fellow visitors very well as 2 of the bedrooms have ensuite bath/shower rooms, to be shared by the occupant of the 3rd bedroom, although there is a separate downstairs loo. The swimming pool is great and there is a shady terrace where we spent most of our time. The owners Mme & M Armangue were very welcoming and accommodating. We would happily recommend this property to those who enjoy outdoor activities and wild countryside and would definitely consider a repeat visit!

Superbe mas ancien situé dans un cadre magnifique.

Nous avons partagĂ© le mas entre 3 couples d'amis pendant une semaine. Cadre exceptionnel encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos : une vue Ă  couper le souffle de grand matin et des charmants sentiers Ă  explorer dans le domaine qui entoure le mas. La rĂ©gion est remplie d'activitĂ©s qui nous ont plu : randonnĂ©es, balades, bonne chĂšre et dĂ©couverte du patrimoine. Équipement et propretĂ© impeccable. L'endroit est trĂšs bien rĂ©novĂ©, entretenu et dĂ©corĂ© avec beaucoup de goĂ»t. Piscine idĂ©alement situĂ©e et trĂšs agrĂ©able. Les lits sont de bonne qualitĂ© et le confort global est au rendez-vous partout dans le mas. Les propriĂ©taires sont trĂšs disponibles et serviables. Le mas lui-mĂȘme est plein de charme mais soufre d'un petit dĂ©faut d'isolation sonore inhĂ©rent Ă  sa conception ancienne. En effet, entre les deux plus petites chambres l'une au dessus de l'autre ainsi qu'entre les toilettes isolĂ©es et la chambre adjacente on a parfois l'impression de partager une mĂȘme piĂšce. Les magnifiques portes et planchers anciens Ă©tant relativement bruyants, il faut savoir que si vous partagez ces chambres entre des couples d'amis, il y a lĂ  un petit manque d'intimitĂ© et des risques d'ĂȘtre rĂ©veillĂ©s lorsque quelqu'un circule dans le mas (surtout si vous avez le sommeil lĂ©ger et pas de boules QuiĂšs). Ce lĂ©ger dĂ©faut n'aura pas gĂąchĂ© notre sĂ©jour -loin de lĂ - mais c'est une information Ă  prendre en compte dans le choix de ce mas et dans l'organisation de son sĂ©jour.

Magnifique Mas entouré par la nature, vue exceptionnelle sur les premiers contreforts de l'Espagne et la vallée. Location isolée mais à seulement 15 min de Ceret. Restauration soignée avec de splendides portes anciennes. Piscine idéalement située ... Acceuil sympatique. Location recommandée pour couple avec enfants.
