The Spanish border is merely 4 kilometres south of Cerbère. Accordingly there are also extensive opportunities to explore Spanish and Catalane culture in the villages and towns along the Costa Brava.

The sea and the surroundings provide great opportunities for relaxation as well as for being active: Swimming, diving, sailing or fishing in the Mediterranean sea. Furthermore the nearby National Park offers excellent terrain for walking or mountain biking. Equally are the curvy roads with steep climbs in this mountainous area very popular among cycling enthusiasts.

The French city of Perpignan offering city vibe, culture and extensive shopping and dining opportunities is located only 47 kilometres from Cerbère. The shopping paradise at La Roca Outlet Center offering global designer and fashion brands is located 120 kilometres south of Cerbère.
