"Very pleasant experience. Very central, but pleasantly quiet. Very dog-friendly--she is now a big fan of Te Anau. Would certainly return."

"The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. However the views trump all of these issues "

"Te Anau was a cute little town. Enjoyed the downtown area for dinner. This house served as a great location for us to stay for spending 2 days in Milford Sound with our 2 kids and inlaws. Lawn and bushes needed upkeep. This made us a little worried when we pulled in. But the inside was spacious and comfortable."

"Everything about this place was lovely. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed! Nice to have the outside furniture to sit at too as the weather was great on two days. A couple of things I felt the owner could consider was some kind of light over bathroom mirror as very dark for putting on makeup and a blind over bathroom window. Even though it’s opaque you feel exposed with light on. 😜 these are additions though and would only enhance an already lovely place. Would definitely stay here again"

The stove top wouldn't heat any of the pans, the oven smoked A LOT the one time we tried to use it probably because there were no baking dishes/pans so the inside was filthy, the pantry was full of expired food, and there were pots in the cupboard with an inch of water in the bottom. "Located overlooking the lake, we enjoyed the view and the town. It was a great stay, clean, warm, with the necessities. Owners were very helpful and kind. "

"This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies). "Property was very comfortable and sunny which was great in October's cooler days. As a previous long term resident of Te Anau I knew the area I selected and indeed, the house itself. Everything we needed was supplied with the exception of linen which I borrowed from local family and friends. If I had one negative it would be about the supply of linen. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Distinction Luxmire hotel. Its fully renovated, modern bath & bed and very spacious. It’s very convenient to walk to all the restaurants in the town centre. Morning buffet breakfast very nice with a lot of options. Overall we enjoyed our stay over there and will go back there for sure. Thanks"

Comfortable, quiet, and convenient!

"We weren't at Bella Vista long, but we desperately needed a soft spot to land after big travel days and this accommodated all of our needs! The room was clean and well stocked. The sliding glass doors are a nice touch as well. It was incredibly quiet which allowed for a great night's rest. We'd definitely stay there again! "
