"The staff were really good. We were allocated a very average room and when I called reception they did the best they could you relocate us. Still not great but definitely better. Beaches restaurant had changed their menu from a week prior which was disappointing. We are very regular stayers and would like to be recognised regularly not just when we book multiple rooms. We go with hotels.com as their reward program is more immediate and flexible even tho I am a gold IHG member"

"Room was nice with modern fittings, bed a little springy but still comfortable enough. Food in restaurant was excellent. Pool & gym area in good condition. Golf grounds were picturesque."
