"Unique. Not for everyone but we appreciated the authentic decor. Beware of two or three flights of stairs to reception. Bright ‘saucy’ murals on the stairs well and brothel themed rooms. Busy street, popular bar, in the heart of old Lisbon. Great value. "

"Great place to stay. Instructions to the apartment were not clear and we ended up at the wrong building. We used the available phone and the man we spoke to was somewhat helpful getting us sorted out. When we made it to the right building, we were still confused and the lady we called was again, only somewhat helpful. The room was still being cleaned well past check in (until 3:30) which made us late for our next stop. The apartment was nice, however, which was a silver lining. "

"We stayed here for New Year's Eve and found the apartment to be a great size for our family. The location was excellent, and we felt very safe during our stay. However, the apartment was quite noisy at times, and the leather beds could definitely use an update for better comfort."

"This place cares about their guests. I had a minor issue and Andre took the time to write to me and have a partner fix it. Across the street from Parque metro station. The french doors in room 1,2, and 3 (facing the street) totally cut the noise. "

"I would absolutely stay here again. The staff was great -- responsive and helpful. Perfect location, close to almost anything you would want to do. Metro and lots of restaurants nearby, including one gelato place next door and one across the street. Apartment is small but more than sufficient. If you are coming to Lisbon for more than one or two nights, I highly recommend Garrett 48 apartments."
