"Probably the friendliest, most chilled hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff couldn't do enough for you and always very welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful, 16th century building in the old town centre, which is amazing. I was in a room which faced to road so, sometimes, it could be rather noisy, but the streets are very narrow and it's an old building. Only issue I had was a lack of hot water in the evening but it wasn't a major problem. A 2 star hotel which makes up for it in many other ways."

"Great value for money hotel in the centre of Troyes. Extremely friendly welcome from reception lady who was very helpful. Good size double rooms, nice bedding, great bathroom. Parking extra but only 7 EUR, breakfast 10.50 EUR - cold buffet, not a great selection but fresh warm good-quality croissants which were appreciated and nice coffee. "

"Good overnight stop. The guy on reception was very friendly & helpful. Awful night pouring down with rain. Asked him about the restaurant opposite said it wasn’t bad & if you show your B&B card get 15% discount. Good call it was lovely."

"I decided to host my family and friends in a chateau in Champagne for my 50th birthday! I chose this one because it looked like it jumped off the page of a Brontë novel. After reading reviews and looking in a map, I wasn’t expecting anything near by. So we had planned to enjoy some time at the chateau, have a birthday party, then head out on day trips. "The property is huge. Very spacious, four bedrooms, and a large bathroom. Lovely terrace surrounding a great pool. There were loads of things to do - table tennis, pool, air hockey etc to keep the teens happy even in poor weather. The host also makes custom game cabinets so we played a lot of pinball. Lesmont is a lovely little village 30 minutes from Troyes, surrounded by arable farms. There is a well-stocked supermarket 10km away. We had a really nice break and would definitely stay here...
