A perfect place to relax, enjoy the countryside whilst appreciating the sensational views towards the sea from every angle of the house. Superb surroundings with large terrace, olive grove, fruit trees and own organic vegetable garden. Great location for families or couple who like a large outdoor area where they are able to sit, relax and for children to play. There is air-conditioning in all the rooms.
Interior: on the ground floor there's the lounge area with fireplace, kitchen/dining, 2 double/twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms. On the first floor there's a large double bedroom, small sitting area and bathroom. All rooms have flyscreens.
Exterior: outside kitchen with old style wood oven with table and chairs. Extensive outdoor area with ample place to park.


Sensational surroundings: Located only 1.5kms from the village of Sant'Ambrogio where one can shop at the minimarket, eat at the Pizzeria or seafood restaurant that is located in the centre of the village. The pebbly/sandy beach of Sant'Ambrogio is 2 kms from the house, there's free or paid parking nearby or you can park your car in the village and walk via the steps that lead to the beach (need to cross-over the SS113).

Amazing stay!
We had a wonderful week at this villa and would definitely recommend it! The highlight is the amazing view and lovely pool. The interior of the villa was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen and bbq as well. We picked vegetables from the garden which was an added bonus!

A fabulous vacation.
A lovely villa, impeccably clean, beautifully appointed and equipped. Peter and Carmelina were excellent hosts, always available and helpful. Small village of San Ambrosio was friendly and welcoming. One of the best rentals we've ever had and we've done a lot of traveling.

Villa Hideaway
A beautiful villa with plenty of room for six adults, we enjoyed our stay at Deodata. Impeccably clean with plenty of supplies we were happy to relax and enjoy the view. We especially loved the pool, essential after the walk back up the hill from Sant’ Ambrogio. The garden provided fruit and vegetables and we even fired up the pizza oven. A very special Sicilian stay.

Amazing Experience
Perfect location, views of Cefalu, great layout of house (inside and outside), and most importantly a great pool where all my kids could stand. Great experience and good kitchen to cook. Out back is a garden (tomatoes, basil, thyme, lemon tree, etc) that we picked and used for our meals. The host was quick and easy to work with.

The villa was beautiful and the views from the garden stunning. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Peter and Carmelina were extremely welcoming and allowed us to totally make the villa our home for the 2 weeks. When we had any questions they were always quick to respond and extremely helpful - we could have not wished for better hosts. Their local knowledge was also very valuable. After we left they even took one of our sons and his girlfriend to the railway station!!!

Gorgeous Tranquility
We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful property than Villa Deodata. Peter and Carmelina have created an exceptional home and were exceptional hosts. The location, slightly above the cute little town of Sant'Ambrogio, and near the busier town of Cefalu was perfect. The views were phenomenal and my favorite thing everyday was eating breakfast out by the pool and looking at La Rocca in Cefalu and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The care and attention to details in the house and the garden are wonderful. We didn't get to meet Carmelina, but Peter met us and showed us around the property and was quick to respond to our questions. Carmelina created a wonderful and thoughtful binder of information regarding the area and we used it a lot to determine outings. We were sorry to leave this wonderful house and hope we can return in the future. Thank you, Peter and Carmelina, for your warm welcome and letting us stay in your lovely home.

Amazing Hillside Location With Glorious Views
The villa is in an absolutely beautiful spot up in the hills above Cefalu and the views from the villa are spectacular. It is in a peaceful setting surrounded by a large private colourful garden. The villa has everything you need for a great holiday. It is a short drive or 35 min walk to the lovely village of Sant'Ambrogio where there is a great choice of small friendly places to eat. Try the cookery course by Chef Ambrogio at his restaurant there, Osteria Baccus - he is a delightful character and a great chef. It is only a 15 min drive to Cefalu, a beautiful old town which has something for everyone - beach, bars - lively and quiet, and loads of different eateries to suit all budgets. Palermo is an hour away by car and a great city to visit -despite the hairy driving! We were very unlucky with the weather even for May, but the fact we all loved it despite that, is a great testament. Our host, Peter could not have been more helpful and was available anytime. We would definitely return even at this time of year again.

Villa mit traumhafter Aussicht
Wir haben uns in der Villa und auf dem großzügigen Grundstück mit eigenem Garten und absoluter Privatsphäre überaus wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht auf das Meer, den Felsen von Cefalù und die bewaldeten Berge hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Das gesamte Anwesen, einschließlich des großen Infinity-Pools war ausgezeichnet gepflegt. Das Haus ist landestypisch eingerichtet, war überdurchschnittlich sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und gut erreichbar. Wir empfehlen die Villa uneingeschränkt weiter und bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Bucht
Wir waren eine Woche in diesem sehr schönen Ferienhaus mit unseren erwachsenen Töchtern. Es fiel uns schwer, das Haus überhaupt zu verlassen für Ausflüge, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt hatten. Dieser Ausblick, das Anwesen sind ein Traum. Die Ausstattung in der Küche war super- man musste nichts kaufen für die Grundausstattung. Wir würden wieder kommen.Sizilien hat uns gecatcht.

Einfach wunderbar
Èin wunderschönes Anwesen im Hinterland von Cefaú. Die Aussicht auf die Küste und Cefalú ist atemberaubend. Das Haus ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Peter hat uns persönlich begrüßt und uns sogar ein Brot gebacken. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Wir haben jede Minute dort genossen und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Toller Aufenthalt mit großartigem Ausblick
Liebevoll gepflegtes Haus mit großem Garten und einem wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meer und den Rocca di cefalù. Aufgrund des ungewöhnlich warmen Wetters konnten wir sogar auch noch Ende Oktober im Meer baden und ausgiebig den Pool nutzen. Die Betreuung durch Peter war außerordentlich ; so konnten wir beispielsweise miterleben, wie die Oliven aus dem Garten zu Olivenöl verarbeitet wurden. Überaus empfehlenswertes Haus mit einer wirklich bemerkenswerten Betreuung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful villa close to Cefalù
We loved our stay at this beautiful villa. The views are spectacular, and it has a lovely property and outdoor spaces. We also loved the interior — it's beautifully decorated and well appointed. We cooked several meals in and made great use of the well-equipped kitchens (both indoor and outdoor). Carmelina and Peter were extremely responsive. They lined up Gainfranco to cook for us one night...it was a highlight of our trip — the meal was delicious, and we had lots of leftovers for the following night! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts, Carmelina and Peter. We would love to return one day!

Heaven in Sicilia
The house, its architecture and it‘s views over the coastline are stunning! It offers everything you need, even a big garden area with olive trees and homegrown tomatoes, zucchini etc. which you can use for your own purpose, not to mention the beautiful pool. The hosts are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming and you can really feel that they put a lot of sweat, heart and attention to detail in their house. Communication beforehand and during our stay was simple and fast. They made us feel like in heaven and we would have loved to stay longer! Thank you Peter & Carmelina

Superb views and great house
This is a fantastic house with most amazing views. Our host, Peter, couldn’t have been more welcoming - meeting us at 1am after our flight was delayed and providing us with some groceries and home baked bread. It was the following morning before we could appreciate the stunning views from the garden and infinity pool - topped off by an amazing sunset that evening. I can’t speak more highly of this wonderful gem overlooking Cefalu - exceeded my expectations. I hope I get a chance to return.

Gorgeous family villa
This was a perfect place for our family holiday, amazing villa, everything we needed. The view from the pool is amazing. We even made pizza in the outside pizza oven. Peter the host looked after us very well, Be aware that you need a car for everything here, the village is too far & steep hill to walk.

Schönes Ferienhaus, traumhafte Aussicht. Nice house, awesome views.
Wir sind mit sechs Erwachsenen Personen für 7 Tage im Ferienhaus gewesen. Von der Sauberkeit, über die Ausstattung bishin zum Ausblick war alles perfekt. Der Pool mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge war natürlich auch ein Highlight. Das Haus verfügt über alles was man braucht. Zusätzlich ist ein liebevoll angelegter Garten angelegt worden, in dem man sich nach Herzenslust bedienen darf. Die Einweisung durch Peter und der Kontakt mit Camelina waren super. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und können uns vorstellen wieder zu kommen, daher eine klare Weiterempfehlung. ____________ We stayed in the house for 7 days with six adults. From the cleanliness to the furnishings to the view, everything was perfect. The pool with a view of the sea and the mountains was of course also a highlight. The house has everything you need. In addition, there is a lovingly landscaped garden where you can take fresh vegetables from. The briefing by Peter and the contact with Camelina was perfect. The hosts are extremely friendly. All in all, we were very satisfied and can imagine coming back again, so a clear recommendation.

A view to die for
We stayed at Villa Deodata in April 2022 and had the most wonderful, relaxing week. Peter was an outstanding host who was helpful and accommodating and made us feel very much at home from the outset. The first thing that strikes you on staying at this wonderful villa is the breathtaking view. The infinity pool perfectly complemented the setting. The villa is beautifully equipped throughout, with everything you could possibly need for your stay: sizable high spec bathrooms and large spacious bedrooms, outside seating with pizza oven and BBQ. If you're there in cooler months there is a fire place in the lounge which is the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine in the evening. The garden room at the rear of the villa boasts the amazing view and is a great space to eat and relax any time of the day. We thoroughly recommend this beautiful villa, so if you wish to unwind and relax in a peaceful setting, this is the villa for you.

Views to remember!
This property was very well appointed with all of the kitchen items we would need as well as comfortable beds, bedding and towels. We especially enjoyed the dinning area with its wrap around seating to enjoy all the changing weather patterns and gorgeous Mediterranean. Power went out one night and help was quick in coming. The grounds were so beautiful and we were able to enjoy home grown tomatoes from the garden. We will always remember our first visit to Sicily and this lovely, welcoming villa.

Urlaub mit 4 Kindern im Oktober 2020
Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, ohne direkte Nachbarn mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf einem grossen Anwesen mit Pool. Der Empfang war sehr unkompliziert und wir wurden mit Obst Brot und Wein überrascht. Es hat uns sehr gefallen und können das Haus ohne Zögern weiter empfehlen. Diana im Oktober 2020

Ein schönes Haus mit wirklich traumhaftem Blick, einem endless Pool, einem Gemüsegarten, zutraulichen Besucher-Kätzchen, schönen, super sauberen Räumen und Badezimmern. Alles liebevollst eingerichtet innen und außen. Carmelina und Peter sind äußerst herzliche und immer hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir hatten 13 traumhafte Tage in ihrem schönen Haus!
