We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. We were impressed by the updated kitchen. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the chairs on the dock. The owners were very friendly.
It was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful sunrises. Very clean house. Unfortunately the first night we noticed the hot water smelled like eggs/sulfur. The owner was very responsive and found the issue the next day. Even though the issue couldn’t be resolved during our stay, it could be resolved prior to the next guest.
The Cottage was the perfect place to rest after a long day of wine and beer tastings around the Leelanau Peninsula! The neighborhood was quiet and the cottage was cozy with great views of the lake!
My wife and I stay in Northern Michigan every fall and have stayed at several VRBO’s. This one was one of the cleanest, in a great location and had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway.
My mom, aunt, and I came up for a wine tasting weekend and we couldn't have been happier with this little cottage on the water. The cottage has everything you could need and is close to many wineries.
Situated on the west bank of Lake Leelanau, "Drag On In" offered a restful stay. Easily visit Traverse City, Sutton's Bay, Cedar, Leland, and Northport.
Gracious hosts and a cozy vacation home make for an excellent visit.
Lovely cottage right on Lake Leelenau. Very clean. All amentities listed.
Perfect dock to sit on, read and watch the waves. Too cold to swim but we did last year and enjoyed it.
Great owners and we hope to visit again.
Perfect for a weekend getaway. The cottage was clean with all amenities. Easy 20 minute drive to Traverse City. We were very content sitting on the dock reading our books in the sunshine.
Clean, cute cottage right on the water. For it being an older cottage it was spotless and such comfy furniture. The beds were the best! We cooked most of the meals there and I had all I needed for dishes and pots and pans.
The cabin itself was very nice and clean, getting to the cabin was very misleading, had to park in grass and walk through wet grass in the mornings. I would suggest putting blinds on front window, it's very bright plus the neighbors (owners workers could see us as they walked by) We were informed that people would be working on the dock Sunday morning at 9 am after we got there, we checked on Thursday and we were told on Friday, we left a day early due toworkerwthereworkers and hadthe e us
The cottage has beautiful “up north” character. Gorgeous lake views and gardens. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lake side porch area is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening wine. Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed the dock and swimming area. We will definitely return.
Had the most wonderful vacation! The lake house was perfect for our family of 4! It was clean and had everything we needed, the air conditioning was a plus! The owners were beyond helpful and friendly we would love to come back again. The lake was perfect for swimming, our young daughters spent hours in it! The location is prime and you can get to so many up north gems in 20 mins!
Well appointed classic cottage with comfortable beds and nice, new appliances. Wifi and a/c unit worked great, lots of fans and linens provided. Gas grill was super clean and picnic table sturdy but light enough to slide around the yard during the day. The yard and flower beds are beautiful and so nicely manicured. Plenty of parking for a boat and the waterfront is gorgeous! Nice fire pit and dock with a shallow sandy bottomed lake! Proximity to local towns, shopping, dining and other lakes is perfect!
Our stay at this property was perfect. The cottage was very clean and welcoming upon our arrival. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The owners property has many beautiful flowers and is manicured to perfection. We are already sharing this property with friends and family in hopes they can visit and enjoy it as much as we did. Definitely want to go back.
This was our second year staying here and we had an enjoyable time. We love the owners. Just a couple things. The blinds in both bedrooms could be replaced. They don’t close properly. The other is to leave detailed directions in the book on how to operate the remote for heating/cooling. Not everyone would think to slide the remote open to locate buttons for operating.
The cabin is quaint. The main bed I think is a full. We didn't fit comfortably so we slept in the bunk beds which was fine. Lots of extra linen was nice to have. They also had fans which was nice for sleeping. Good size deck with lots of seating to view the lake. Remote area which felt nice.
Only complaints we had was it was not clear where to park or even where exactly the cabin was. When you arrive on the property, there's multiple homes and it feels like you're trespassing and not in the right spot. Then we didn't know where to park and it was dark so we were using our phone lights. There's also not walking path to the cabin so our feet got all wet and muddy. Wasn't a huge issue, just would've been nice to have a more clear indication we were in the right place, specific parking and maybe some pavers to walk on instead of grass. Again, we kept thinking we weren't in the right place because of this. Overall, the property was good.
We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend getaway at this cottage. It's small, but perfect for two people. Very clean and cozy, with a beautiful view of Lake Leelanau. Great location to visit wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula, close to restaurants, hiking trails, dunes, etc. And our hosts were lovely. We would stay again!
