Love this house!
This was our second time staying at this house and we once again loved it. The sandy beach provided hours of entertainment for the kids. The water is clear and shallow even past the boat dock so us adults didn't worry when the kids were playing in the water. The deck is perfect for hanging out during the day and night. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need for cooking. Our hosts were again generous with their time in providing suggestions for recreation, dining, and boat rental.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Our kids loved playing in the beach area and in the shallow water, which by the way goes out much further than you can see. Got a chance to throw around the football and a Frisbee at long distances in the water.. I also brought my boat up and there was plenty of space to tie up to the dock. A lot of different areas to fish that cannot be covered in 1 weeks time. Many great memories were made here. The fire pit on the dock was also a great feature we took advantage of. Great location central to Leland, Glen Arbor and Traverse city. Especially on those days where you need a break from the sun :). We will definitely stay again if we head up that way in the future. Thanks Marge and Ray!

Peaceful
We had an amazing experience with the owners and the property. The cottage has all the necessary items you need in a bathroom kitchen and laundry facilities. The owners were friendly and provided answers to all our questions. They were available when we needed to reach them and provided ideas for places to go and eat out. The property was beautiful and maintained!! The location is great!! Can’t wait to rent next summer.

Excellent House
The check-in process was a breeze and the house was even better than advertised. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck, which has a great view of the lake and allowed the adults relax while still watching the kids play on the sandy beach or in the clear, shallow water. The location feels very secluded and we appreciated its location on the lake because it did not seem like there was much boat traffic. We did not have any issues with the property, but the owners were extremely responsive to the questions we had about the house and surrounding areas. They also took a personal interest and added some nice personal touches. For example, when I spoke with them prior to our arrival, I mentioned my wife had a food allergy and they included information for a local grocer with specialty items in our welcome packet. Based on my interests our hosts dropped off some smoked sausages, which was greatly appreciated. We really could not have asked for better hosts or a better house for our family vacation. In fact, we booked for next year already.

Classic cottage on the water
If you’re looking for a classic cottage feel in a secluded area, this is a great option. If you’re looking for modern lodging, this is not for you. The hosts are very friendly. However, they did show up during our stay to work on the property. That was off putting, since we were in our bathing suits having a private family day. My husband and I prefer privacy when we rent vacation homes. Mentioning this in case you expect full privacy like we do. Overall, it’s a great location. 15-20 minutes to most Traverse area destinations. Owners maintain the grounds well.

Great Place to have a nice and relaxing weekend.
Very clean place but the beds are not for 4 adults that need each one a bed. One of our friends had to sleep on the couch.
