Cute, cozy studio cottage in a quiet, gated 5 acres. Cottage has open floor plan. King size bed with sofa sleeper accommodates up to 4 guests. Washer and dryer, WiFi and ROKU available. Large, private back porch makes it the ideal spot for your coffee overlooking the serene wooded area. You'll enjoy sharing your morning with the birds. Bring your pets, they are welcome here! Feel free to walk the 5 acres and play ball with you pets. We provide leashes, a doggie bed, food/water bowls and snacks. We live on the property along with our dogs; Rosita and Hercules. They're both friendly and will also welcome you if they see you! We are located only 20 minutes from central and downtown Austin and only 7 minutes to the quaint little town of Bastrop. Whether you are looking for festivals, arts or the Formula 1 racetrack, there is always lots to do in either direction. When you're done, you will have the peace and quiet of country living to enjoy. Great getaway
Great stay, private and well set up unit. Perfect for a couple with dog. Close to town of Bastrop which was great. Also close proximity to circuit of Americas. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in town for a race!

Lovely stay
I came for a few nights to visit family in the area and this place was perfect for me. I loved that it was gated, had a quiet back porch, and had all the supplies I needed to make meals. It was tucked away off of the main road and felt very secure. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Great property for price
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was nice and quiet and our dogs were able to rum in the fenced in yard. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the trampoline.

Great place in the country but close enough to Austin
We stayed here for a weekend in Austin, but wanted to have some quiet time away from the city. The place was perfect. The house is setup like a studio. The kitchen, living room and bedroom are all in one area. It is plenty roomy for a couple and the bed is huge. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to Austin.

Perfect Getaway
Quiet, secluded, well-appointed. We had everything we needed, and we were close to the parks we wanted to hike. It was awesome to drive up to a house decorated for the holidays, complete with tree inside! Everything was comfortable and easy. Thank you, Dianne and George! Will definitely be back!

Nice little get away
The property was a little farther out (from the main road) than expected. Everything one could need was provided. I would have liked it to be a bit cleaner. Especially the floors. I don't wear shoes in my house nor others and my feet got dirty from the floor. I get that it is a rustic retreat and things get dirty. Overall, nice and peaceful.

Quiet and comfy
A little off the main road but really easy to get to just a few minutes from COTA. Quiet and spacious with comfortable furniture. Balcony is a nice place to sit and relax on. Bathroom mirror was a little low for me but otherwise a fantastic place! Will definitely look to book again next time I'm in Austin!

Austin Oasis
The location is very close to Austin but without being in the big city! The home is clean and very spacious. We stayed there during Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well equipped to suit our needs as we prepared food to take to my husband’s sisters house. Thank you for the great stay and great communication!

Nice House Near Bastrop
The house is close to Bastrop and is in a quiet neighborhood. The online description was accurate, the house was clean and the owner is very responsive, communications were very good. The house was well furnished, and even had some food, coffee and condiments.

Awesome setting
Prompt responses to messages. Beautiful cabin and bigger than expected. Coffee on the back porch was a great way to start the day. Peaceful setting. Our dog loved walking and exploring the property. This was our first VRBO rental, and they have set a high bar.
