Charming Cedar City Getaway: Modern Comfort Meets Prime Location!

Nestled in the heart of Cedar City, Utah, discover a haven that seamlessly blends modern comfort with the raw beauty of nature. Our freshly remodeled vacation home, designed to be an oasis of relaxation and entertainment, stands as a testament to luxurious living in the great outdoors.

Inside this spacious sanctuary, up to 14 guests can find solace across comfortable beds equipped with brand-new mattresses. With 2½ meticulously designed bathrooms, there's never a rush in the mornings or evenings. As you explore the home, you'll revel in the crispness of the state-of-the-art air conditioning system, and the added warmth of central heating, further enhanced by our specially furred exterior walls for supreme insulation.

Culinary enthusiasts can delight in the full kitchen, showcasing pristine, new appliances. Whether it's breakfast pancakes or a gourmet dinner, the space is equipped to handle any culinary challenge. As night falls, the large screen streaming TV becomes the focal point, where movie nights come alive in high definition.

The shared laundry room ensures your stay remains effortless, and the dedicated game room, sprinkled with a variety of games, becomes the epicenter of laughter and friendly competition. A specially curated children's room ensures the younger guests are equally entertained. And for those who can't completely escape work duties, a stylish desk area awaits.

For moments of shared meals and stories, our expansive dining table is your arena. If you're seeking quiet corners for reading or simply unwinding, you'll find plenty of cozy seating areas dotted throughout.

Stepping outside, the property unfolds into a grand yard, ideal for both celebrations and tranquil moments. With a full hedge encircling the property, privacy is guaranteed. Let the children roam freely, safe in the enclosed space, as adults enjoy the serenity Cedar City offers.

Location, they say, is everything. And in this regard, our home truly shines. A leisurely walk brings the vibrancy of Main Street Park, the allure of downtown shopping, fresh produce from grocery stores, the magic of community theater, and the world-renowned Utah Shakespearean Festival right to your fingertips. Add the academic excellence of Southern Utah University and the solemn beauty of the Veteran's Park and memorial site – which is just next door – to the mix, and every day presents a new adventure.

But Cedar City's charm doesn't end at its urban offerings. Nature lovers will find themselves in paradise. Cedar Breaks National Monument, with its breathtaking vistas, is a short drive away. Dive deeper into nature's wonders with trips to Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park. Notably, the lesser-known but equally magnificent Kolob, a pristine area of Zion National Park, beckons with its serene trails and vistas.

Winter sport aficionados will relish the proximity to Brian Head ski resort, a snowy paradise that promises adrenaline and awe in equal measure. And for those inclined towards culture and history, the city's museums present a rich tapestry of stories waiting to be uncovered.

In essence, our Cedar City retreat is more than just a stay; it's an experience, a blend of contemporary luxury and timeless nature. Dive into the heart of Utah, and let our home be your guide. Book your Cedar City retreat and immerse in a blend of modern comfort and local charm.

Your Safety is our #1 Concern! My 2nd Home, LLC was founded by a previous General Manager of a Wyndham Resort. She brought her extensive knowledge through years of training on customer safety to this business. The staff at My 2nd Home, LLC is always putting our guest's safety at the top of the list of priorities. We start by providing professionally laundered linens through American Linen Supply Company (ALSCO). This assures your sheets, towels, bathmats, etc. have been cleaned using commercial machines with boilers and commercial grade cleaners which kill more germs than a home washer/dryer can do. We also make sure every surface of the home is wiped down with commercial cleaners with bleach, paying special attention to items such as remote controls, doorknobs, cupboard handles, and anything within the home which are touched by hands on a regular basis. We provide single use products rather than large bottles of shampoos, soaps, etc. which have been used by previous guests. Our goal is for our guests to have a safe, enjoyable time staying at a My 2nd Home property, knowing that the home they are staying in has been cared for and cleaned by the best in the business.

Poor air conditioning and no communication
The location was ideal. The home was clean and quirky, in a charming way. The yard was a bit run down and there were adjoining parts of the house that were not refurbished. They were not part of the living quarters, adding to the fun quirkiness. I would have posted a glowing review of this place, but the air conditioning wasn't working and it was hot. I sent a message but received no response. One of my sons left and checked into a hotel because he and his family (including two young children) could not sleep during the first night. So, while some aspects of this home were great, there is nothing worse than being forced to leave a home you've paid for and check into a hotel.

Great location and value
This charming historic home is perfect for a large group with plenty of beds. The bathrooms are dated and do not have enough towels, but typical for homes from that era. The kitchen had ample serving ware but no pantry essentials like cooking spray. We encountered a few ants and spiders, not uncommon due to the mild winters. The upstairs air conditioning ran a little weak. That might be due to roof insulation in an older home, or some other issue. The highlight was the home's perfect location for walking to the town's amazing Shakespeare Festival each summer and the fun farmers market on Saturdays. Overall the home is a great value for a group.
