"I was misled by the drone photo of the property. There is an industrial zone between the property and the ocean. The room door was like a safe door, heavy with a 4-pronged bolt. It hinted that the area needed extra safety precautions."

"Lovely hotel, good breakfast. Only complaint was the extra bed in our room for our son was awful. Really creaky with a wafer thin mattress. Other than that would recommend, nice area with lots of restaurants in walking distance."

"A clean, modern and well-equipped hotel in the heart of Vrbnik, within walking distance of the Old Town, several restaurants and beaches/swimming spots. Our room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. What really sets this hotel apart is the service - the staff who work here are so kind, friendly and willing to help. The restaurant is also excellent, with truly delicious and beautifully presented food. This is a lovely hotel in a gorgeous area of Croatia and I would definitely recommend a stay."

"The view is beautiful and the room is clean but a bit on the small side, also the lighting is quite dim. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. They helped us to unload our luggage and brought to the room. On first night, there was a big party went on until 2:30 in the morning, we did complain but nothing they could do. "We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."

"If you want a very local-feeling hotel, this fits the bill. Beach area is concrete w/lounge chairs. Check-in person was very gracious but evening person was the opposite. We needed extra towels because shower had created wet mess in bathroom — told that would cost extra. (The manager did finally approve replacement dry towels). Room view was outstanding, breakfast buffet was sufficient. Bars of soap smallest possible. Surprised it is 4 stars; more like 3."

"We splurged and spent the night. This beautiful hotel. After a delicious buffet dinner we ventured down for a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Felt very good, but the temperature was not as warm as we would have liked. We did not use the other wellness facilities but would have liked to use the red light therapy room if time had allowed! Breakfast was wonderful. Fabulous pillows on the bed and we slept like babies! We felt spoiled!"
