"We liked everything about the property... it was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed. Location was good too. Really appreciated the blackout blinds. Slight downside was that the neighbour began a major renovation project outside, with large and heavy machinery every day, but this is obviously out of the control of the host. We loved our stay and will return!"

"Lovely house with everything you need for relaxing, within easy reach of the beach, restaurants and a short drive to supermarkets. Portiragnes Plage, Plage Ouest has lovely clean sand and easy swimming. Lots of other beaches nearby and a 40 minute drive takes you up into the Montaines Noir. "Although this could be a beautiful house, it is not represented by the photographs. The house is in need of substantive refurbishment. I believe the photographs are many years old. The gardens are now so overgrown and a dumping ground for garden rubbish. The pool is very nice but the plants in tubs are all dead. The pool would benefit from more regular cleaning. "A wonderful huge property, extremely well equipped including a pool table. The house manager met us (as arranged) and guided up through the facilities of the house. The village of Margon does not have any shops though there are lots at both Pouxelles and Roujon each just 2km away. Margon does have an excellent restaurant. It is also perfectly placed to enjoy lakes and mountains and the coast. Finaly it is only a short drive to the medeival cities of Beziers and Carcassonne."

"Large, well-kept home with lots of art on the walls. The yard is lovely. The host speaks only French. There is poor internet in this area and everything is closed on Sunday and Monday. The pool was too cold to swim in. "

"We spent a very quiet and restful 3 weeks exploring the area. The weather was not kind to us but it did not spoil the pleasure we found at the property which was comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed preparing our own meals in the perfectly adequate kitchen. We enjoyed the sports we watched on TV. From the pool to the bbq to the electric bikes and more, this house is perfect. Patrice was so easy to deal with and made us feel right at home. "Had a lovely time in Roquebrun. Andre is a great host, very friendly, easily contactable, quick to respond, fantastic local knowledge and excellent English (thanks). The pool was cleaned often and there is lots of space. Roquebrun is lovely and the villa location is great - under 10 minutes walk to the restaurants a small supermarket and a bakery. "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"Lovely location with views out over the river Orb. Right next to Cathedral. Close to several very pleasant restaurants. Very walkable to Hotel de Ville, tourist office, market hall, Carrefour, laundromat, Plateau des Poetes and Jardin de la Plantade parks, SNCF train station, transit hub at Place DeGaulle, and lots of shopping of all kinds."

Valras Plage T3, ground floor garden villa with all comforts

Left a lot to be desired!!

"This was a very disappointing stay. The host did not meet us as Planned. She sent a man to let us in And gave us the keys, but Did not speak any English. We were Left without explanation of how things worked in the apartment… I was shocked to find that there were no sheets or towels in the apartment. Fortunately, we had a friend who lived Near so we were able to borrow some from her. We were so uncomfortable. We had to leave a day early."

"It was very difficult and confusing to figure out how to get into the building. Although I had already paid through Expedia, I had to pay again. And there is a computer monitor that asks your name and reseveration number. The hotel's reseveration number and Expedia's reservation number are different and I was using Expedia's reservation number. At the end of a long day, you don't want to waste 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get in. "
