"We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. The nearest town is a short drive away. Lusima is a great host who went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.with helpful advice on activities and great restaurants. "We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "Linda and Andres were fantastic hosts. The property is a converted barn and well-equipped. It’s in beautiful valley, close to the Rio Sella where you can swim. The garden area is mainly above the house. We didn’t use the bbq because we had our own, as we’d been camping elsewhere. There are plenty of fruit and nut trees nearby and the locals seemed happy for us to take peaches, walnuts and apples! Recommended."
