"Gaia was a wonderful place to enjoy the jungle side of Belize. The staff was very responsive and assisted me with transfer from Belize City and back. There was an extra charge for this service. Check in was a breeze and the rooms are very comfortable. "This is one of the best places I ever stayed at. If you like a rainforest, / jungle setting, then this is by far one of the most peaceful, beautiful areas you could go to. Amazing staff and a overall fantastic experience. I picked it from expedia, and I am very glad I did. The grounds are beyond amazing, with its flora and beautiful pool and cabins. Nothing could have been better and I will be returning soon."

"The grounds and pool at this hotel were stunning! Proximity to San Ignacio and all activities perfect! The room was lovely and spacious with a beautiful outdoor shower. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the head chef was so kind and thoughtful. My son and I got a stomach flu one day and she made us a an amazing ginger tea. The only downfall at this resort was the low water pressure and lack of hot water. You only get about 5 minutes before the hot water runs out. "

"Bocawina is well run. They cater to customer needs without being pushy. Their staff are all local and they try to find other guides if necessary to fit your desires for your vacation. The property is very attractive and clean. We had no problems with bugs in the room. Overall, a very nice place."

"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about.
