"Exemplary stay for three seniors traveling to Stresa for a wedding. They could not do enough to accommodate us as we the second room was needed last minute. The rooms were cleaner than rooms that friends had in the lake front high end hotels. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the best hot water and pressure of that can be imagined. "It is very good hotel, exellent for the price. Beautiful view from the balcony, walkable distance to Orta San Julio, 40 min drive to Lago Maggiori. The room was clean and big, the restaurant is very good. I only should mention that in our room the Internet connection was very weak."

"This is the kind of gorgeous, historic property that you can only find in Europe. Details were thoughtful, the lawns and property itself were carefully maintained. The rooms themselves are all each well appointed lofts/apartments. The owner was attentive when we told her that we had to leave before breakfast so she brought a coffee tray and toasts to our room at 6am the next morning. I would suggest paying at the hotel on arrival because there was some confusion about pre-paying the rooms, but...
