"The property is emaculate a true dream and beautifully kept. The history of the house is clear and Simonetta gives you a history and full tour of the property upon arrival. If you've seen the pictures they don't do justice to the property. Only negative is that we wish we could have stayed longer."

"We had a great stay in August. It was very hot so the air con throughout the property was most welcome. The property is well appointed and had all we needed. The pool was ideal for a cooling splash and lots of play with my daughter while her mum enjoyed the sun bathing. Alba is a very nice town with plenty of places to eat and discover the local produce and provided a great base to explore the area. "As in all prior reviews, a "10" from us. The house is a modern design, fully equipped, with great view over old Alba. We didn't use the pool, but it is large and always clean. Easy walk into Centro; we also found parking when we drove into town. Best part was our host. Always accessible. As an example. we had a problem with our car one day, and he volunteered to go with us to a mechanic and help us out. We've stayed in a number of VRBO's. This was at the top. Highly recommended. "

"I am not one who typically writes reviews but I really couldn't have asked for a better home to spend a few nights in Piemonte. The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. The house felt like a home and we only wish it wasn't November and we could have spent more time relaxing by the pool. Can't wait to come back. Miss it already."

"Our group of 6 adults stayed at the villa for 5 days while exploring the surrounding wine region and relaxing after a wedding. The villa was amazing. There was plenty of space for all guests, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and perfectly manicured lawn and pool area. Marco, Lonela and Christian were great to work with and so friendly, especially through our language barriers. "It was a pleasure to stay in Villa Barbara. Everything was clean and place was quiet and looked like brand new. Special kudos to all of the complimentary food - cake, eggs, milk, wine, water, bread, cheese, salami, hazel nuts - everything we needed for the breakfast for couple of days. "The house is in a beautiful location, surrounded by vineyards and nut trees. The view from the terrace is amazing and we enjoyed the shade it offered during the day and the pretty sunsets in the warm evenings. "This is a modernized hilltop villa set among vines and hazelnut trees. The vista is spectacular. There are two very comfortable bedrooms. The third bedroom has a sofa bed which we did not use. Many closets and drawers. Two very nice bathrooms. Large kitchen fairly well equipped for cooking. We are not so used to the little Mika coffee maker, and wish there was an electric one.
