"My husband and I spent five nights of our honeymoon at this amazing property and it greatly exceeded our expectations. The home is so charming and the location can’t be beat. It’s close to several small villages and only 30 minutes from Calvi. We really enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub and the views from the deck, as well as falling asleep to the sounds of the stream. "This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

If you are wanting to get away from it all and experience more rugged Corsica away from the beach resorts, this is an ideal place. Das Häuschen hat ein traditionelles und authentisches Flair, liegt an einer pittoresken ruhigen Umgebung mitten im Dorf. Super war auch, dass sich unser Cocker-Spaniel im Innenhof und eingezäunten Garten frei bewegen konnte. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren mit Rennrad oder Mountainbike in die umliegenden Dörfer. "Spacious and finished to a nice standard charming property offering breathtaking panorama from each window and a terrace. It would be hard to find a better view over the valley from the top floor terrace, so impressive and calming. We spent a great deal of our stay there, just watching and listening to red kite birds, sheep and donkeys. The location of the house is perfect, two minutes walk to buy a morning baguette, and three minutes from the public car park; never too long a drive to explore...

"Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette ancienne maison du charmant village de Lavatoggio. Le cadre et la vue sur la mer sont vraiment super. Les propriétaires sont des personnes très serviables et adorables. Attention aux voitures larges car les ruelles sont très étroites pour arriver jusqu'à la maison qui se situe en haut du village. Pour un véhicule de modèle standard ça se passe bien avec une bonne conduite. Les points négatifs : Le ménage avant l'arrivée pourrait être un peu plus soigné et...
