"My wife had injured her leg skiing and the hotel very kindly and efficiently allowed us early check-in. The staff were warm, friendly and courteous and made us feel cared for. We had a lovely traditional dinner in the restaurant which we very much enjoyed. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and we would definitely return."

"Ten of us enjoyed an 'out of season' break at this lovely property in the small town of Cauteretes nestled in the stunning mountain landscape. With ages from 3 upwards we found plenty to do in the vicinity from a lovely animal park, to thrilling luge rides, gentle walks, to the cave and train ride at Lourdes and the relaxing spa - we packed a lot in! The house provided a perfect homely base. The stove was easy to use and was a welcome burst of heat and comforting flames after some long days out. The perfect socialising space hosted family meals and evenings spent playing games. With the stunning vistas from the large picture windows it was even warm enough (Late Oct) for some sitting out on the veranda watching the lizards warm themselves in the sunshine. The witches on the Halloween parade in the town was as memorable as the beautiful carousel for the little ones. The bedrooms were clean and thoughtfully decorated and with most rooms ensuite - everyone had their own space. The host was warm and welcoming. All in all a perfect family holiday."

"This was a wonderful hotel. The owners are very friendly. More importantly, they are so knowledgeable about the area. We appreciated Sébastien‘s kind advice on the hiking routes. He was absolutely wonderful. We love the location of this hotel as well as it was close to restaurants and the main town center. Overall, we look forward to coming back again! Merci Sebastian! "

"The property is very poorly maintained. Everything in it is over used, old, and rundown. It was very unpleasant to stay in. The building common areas were grainy and had a strong mildew smell. The mattresses were old, the furniture was over used. The kitchen and the equipment in it were old. The bathroom was in very poor condition. This property should not be a listing meant to host paying customers."
