We spent 4 lovely peaceful days in this gorgeous historic estate with some of the most beautiful flowers and gardens, and delicious breakfasts and dinners served in a very relaxing environment.
Mme Ghisalay is very kind and generous in sharing her gorgeous family historic property with her guests, and she takes pride in her home and its beauty in every room and all the public areas. She has maintained it at a very high luxurious level, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and an authentic experience of Provence.
There is easy access to some of the best places for Lavender season and scenic drives to the villages of Apt, Gordes, the Lavender Museum, Sault, Aix-en-Provence, and Mont Ventoux.
The lavish, beautifully presented breakfasts were nourishing with homemade jams and jellies, fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits from her garden, and the tastiest homemade fresh yogurt. We also enjoyed multi-course gourmet dinners, that were among the best we had during our month long Europe vacation.
Mme Ghisalay is a wonderful, graceful hostess and cook and truly cares for her guests and their enjoyment. The gardens and pool and surrounding seating is very comfortable and welcoming. If the weather had not been so extremely hot, we would have enjoyed it even more.
Overall, it was a very special experience that we will remember very fondly. If we drive to that area in the future, we would love to visit again for a longer period. Merci beaucoup!
