" We stayed at the Fisherman’s Cottage in Port-En-Bessin to enjoy the coast and explore D-Day history. The cottage was perfect for both. Laeticia, our host, was pleasant and responsive, a delight. The cottage is beautifully appointed. The decor is lovely and the layout extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is bright and cozy. room. The bedroom was large and comfortable and bath clean and well kept. The cottage is just steps from the sea and town....

The property itself is very clean and modern with plenty of space for a family or group. The location is near many sites in Normandy and easy to access. "A group of 11 of our family enjoyed the beauty of the area from this super central location! Plenty of private space and bathrooms to accommodate and the kitchen dining and sitting areas were great for all of us to hang out after the day’s activities! Enjoyed the d day sites but also the quaint villages and seaside towns including port en bessin. Make sure to also go to Bayeux to visit a really amazing city and maybe catch the farmers market! Truly loved our stay"

"We stayed here for 3 nights to explore Normandy by car. Port-en-Bessen is a perfect location and this house is in the middle of it. Wonderful hostess met us and walked us thru the house and made sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. She provided us with local and Normandy information and the house was extremely well stocked for us. Three wonderful nights and we were sad to leave. We travel a lot and this was our favorite house and town to stay in. We will be back!"

"Lovely place. Two bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom down a spiral staircase, not for the elderly who need to visit the loo at night!. Nathalie was wonderful. It is part of a 300 cow dairy farm. They reminded us they were close by. Countryside was fantastic. Loved the experience. "

"We very much enjoyed our recent stay in Ryes! The house is charming and well-equipped, and was the perfect location for exploring Bayeux and the D-Day beaches and museums. The host, Alexandre, shared information about the area, left plenty of instructions for how the house/appliances work, and responded quickly to my messages. "We enjoyed the relaxing location just outside Le Molay Littry. It's 50mins from Caen in countryside like Cornwall, but without the people! We weren't aware it's right next to a cow farm but they weren't a bother, but there are a lot of flies,which we got used to. The house is a little sparsely furnished but spacious. The bedrooms could do with a chest of drawers each and there's room for them. Downstairs is a bit minimalist too. Some soft furnishings would break up the noise a bit. The town...

"A great place to stay. Close enough to the (amazing) beach that if you forget something it's no hassle to pop back and grab it. Really good location for accessing loads of WW2 sites (for when you have a WW2 obsessed teenager!), and some really good cycling routes nearby. Highly recommend, and will re-book if staying in the area again."
