"We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. "We had a wonderful time at the house. It is so much larger than the photos show. The lounge is cavernous and the two main bedrooms are very generous in size. The bathrooms are clean and well positioned. The kitchen is also well equipped and in a perfect place to make use of the outside dining table and bbq. "This is a charming, up to date gite in an ideal location, 3 km from Eymet, a wonderful small village in Dordogne. It is hard to get a sense of just how peaceful the location is from the photos, but we greatly enjoyed our stay. Michael and Donna were great hosts. I only wish we could have stayed longer than the 6 nights we were there. "

"Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well. "Had the most perfect week at La T! The house is beautiful and the most equipped place I think we have ever stayed. Our 2 teenage boys managed to keep themselves happily entertained for the whole week The pool is fab and the sun loungers, sofas and tables make for perfect afternoons and evenings in the sun. Julia was so helpful from the original booking all the way through to arriving at the house. Highly recommend!"

"The six of us had a wonderful stay at Petit Nivelle. The farmhouse was charming and inviting. We enjoyed cozy fires in the fireplace on chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen is amazing, well-stocked with utensils and pots and pans. We visited all the surrounding markets, many beautiful and historical sites along the Dordogne, Saint-Émilion as well. Bob and Evelyn next door, could not have been more helpful, hospitable and pleasant - all are memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you...

Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Beautiful farm stay

"We loved staying on the farm. The house was large and spotless, hosts incredibly helpful. Our 3 and 5 year olds boys loved it too! The only thing to note for other guests (that is very usual in France) is that you need to bring your own bedding, this isn’t explicitly called out on the listing. Would definitely stay again! "

Perfect stay in wonderful surroundings

"Our family had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is wonderful as surrounded by vineyards and nature in a lovely quiet setting. The house is perfect for families, spotlessly clean, spacious and plenty of facilities for young children. There was a collection of toys, paddling pool, sun loungers, bbq, table tennis to name just a few. The rooms are so comfortable and had a great sleep. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Location wise, we are very close to Soussac for local shops and a wonderful restaurant and Bergerac only being a 30-40 min drive. The hosts are a delight and was amazing at helping us check in as we arrived late at night due to delays. We could not have had a more enjoyable holiday at the gîte and will return for sure."

"This hotel is in a beautiful location with extensive grounds and several golf courses. The chateau is a lovely centre piece overlooking the lake. We stayed in Relais des Vigiers which is separate accommodation in the grounds. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had a great shower. There was also an outside seating area. It was ver gomfortable. We also ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here."
