"First let me say the property manager was amazing! When we first arrived we ran into some issues with a large amount of dead Asian Beetles in the house after a brief warm front blew through. This is an old building so totally normal (it happens). We made the property manager aware and they were immediately responsive with the offer to use a different property but we decided to allow them to clean it as we didn’t figure any more bugs would show due to the current cold temps now. "We celebrated the life of our brother. He was a simple guy who loved deeply. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cabin was perfect. Nice lake out the back door with great porch for relaxing. We unfortunately didn’t get to go outside. Flooding rain cut our trip short. Great communication with the owner. Would return and recommend others to as well. "

"My partner and I took a small vacation to visit the area in St. Louis, I decided to spend a little more than I usually do when it comes to hotels. But that being said, it was still reasonably priced for what was offered. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and loved what was offered in the bathroom, Dove branded soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion! That was a first for us, but then again we usually stay in cheap motels that offer the cheapest soap available. The bed was very comfy. My only small complaint was the fridge. It was small, but it still worked for us. Not a huge problem, but just thought that I'd mention it. Overall we loved our stay and we will more than likely come back and book with the same hotel if we're ever in the area again. Not sure when, but we will stay here again when we do. "
