"The ocean view is the trump card of Ocean View Coral. The living area (kitchen, dining table comfy seating) all share an unobstructed view of powder white sand beach, gorgeous blue water dotted with coral formations and palm trees and sea grass along the sand dunes. The expansive ocean facing deck runs the full width of the villa and can be accessed from the 2 spacious ensuite bedrooms as well as the living area. Another plus is the restaurant at Greenwood Resort which is a 20 minute walk along the beach or 5 minute drive. We enjoyed several dinners there and took a great snorkel trip with Antoine.The villa is well equipped and well maintained, although it needs a generator. We were without power 2 mornings, which meant no water from the taps. I would advise arranging with Lana the property manager to have the villa pre-stocked with groceries and water or shop in New Bight immediately when you land. Driving is a challenge due to road conditions. But the endless beach, beautiful ocean and stunning sunrises in front of Ocean View Coral and the beautiful people of Cat Island made our trip unforgettable."

"Relaxed, beautiful beach views, lulled to sleep nightly to the sound of the surf, with a full kitchen, two bedrooms each with double (full) beds, two very nice bath/shower room. Manager two properties down and so responsive and helpful (wife broke her foot on the trip, and they were so gracious to find some crutches for her. Locals friendly, open.We recommend it highly."

"We were looking for a place to stay that was comfortable but far away from resorts and other people. That is exactly what we got! Nancy and her caretaker were both very responsive and helpful. For those new to Cat Island they both provide important and helpful context on how to prepare for the trip and what to expect- even including tips on getting there from Nassau. The setting is just so gorgeous and you have like a 100m of beach to yourself. I think in two weeks we saw three people. When we felt like some company we walked 100m to the Pink Chicken bar for some excellent fish and conch... and a few beers. The snorkelling off the beach was fantastic. So many fish including a very large and curious baracuda. The house itself is completely modern and has everything one could ask for. We will be back."

"We had stayed at Shanna's Cove next door in the past. This house was perfect for a family of 4. We had the best beach and access to Shanna's Cove resort for dinner all week. It truly was the best of both worlds. Patti was great and was quick to respond. Would love to come back next year."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Banana Wind. I highly recommend having Mr. Harrison King prepare dinner for your first night. I recommend renting an SUV or something other than a car. The roads are terrible…everywhere "

"One of the most beautiful places ever. Bring long sleeves and pants if you are someone who is irritates by sand fly bites-- regular deet wont cut it! Meal there was lovely-- perfect spot!!"

"If you are looking for a place to stay with restaurants and music and a lot going on, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking to TRULY relax, cook your own meals and enjoy the quiet of the Bahamas, this is your place! Cat Island is SO beautiful and serene, and Cat's Cove is the same. This home is the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The home has all that you need to be comfortable, water to drink, all of the cooking supplies you need to just slow down. We had beach towels, clean blankets, amazing views. Everything! We brought way too much stuff! I loved combing the beaches for treasures, I found so many! Our son loved fishing and kayaking, he caught a handful of really cool fish, our daughter loved being in the water and kayaking, and my husband did it all. We enjoyed our sunsets floating in the ocean, and late nights at the Tiki Bar. Music playing loudly, of course! We love that! There wasn't a soul around. It wasn't until the last day that we saw anybody. This vacation was a bit quieter than we thought but it made us unwind. We had a wonderful experience! Rollez for a night and Da Smoke Pot two times and souvenir's on the side of the road! This is a place to truly unwind and just relax. It was amazing! Cat Island, and Cat's Cove will never be forgotten for our family. I hope you can have the same experience! "

"If you are looking for a beautiful, serene getaway this is it! The property is exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds, bright big bathroom, full kitchen for all your cooking / bbq needs, plus Marianna had many extras waiting for us on arrival such as coffee/tea, snacks, bottles of water and cold bubbly! Marianna (host) was great with all communication and answered any questions that we had. She arranged a contact to pick us up for the airport (close by), help us grab some groceries and check in with us throughout our stay. Big shout out to Donna ! A bright welcoming personality that kept us smiling all week long :) And to her puppy Babu! The beach is stunning, lounge chairs, beach towels and floaties all available. Kayaked into the mangroves and had a turtle escort us out :) Sunsets did not disappoint. We did pop next door to the Fernandez Bay Resort for a lunch and a dinner (which was excellent) and to the Tiki Bar for the odd refreshment. Also recommend renting a car for a day or two and explore the island. So many beautiful beaches to explore... just watch for potholes, lol. If you're looking for a very laid back, peaceful beach vacation where you are looking just to relax with no fuss, this is it. If the stars align we will be back. Note: if the bugs/mosquito's like you make sure you bring some bug spray for early morning and evenings."
