The Pacific ocean is your backyard with private beach access right from our decks in 28 seconds. When you stay, you will be in one of the closest units to the beach with no mound in dunes blocking your view of the ocean. On lucky occasions, you might spot otters, seals, dolphins, and even whales along the shore. We have and so have many of our guests!

Nestled in the sand dunes surrounding Monterey Bay and with an easy ride to Santa Cruz, Monterey, and new and modern Salinas Northbridge Mall and Harden Ranch Plaza, our beach home is the perfect vacation getaway in the area. We are easily accessible from Highway 1. Explore Santa Cruz Boardwalk, Carmel by the Sea, Pebble Beach golf resorts, the scenic 17-mile drive, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Moss Landing’s Elkhorn Slough, Whale watching etc. And in case, you are having too much fun at the beach to step away for food or grocery shopping, Instacart & Doordash will deliver straight to your doorstep.

We absolutely loved a place big enough for our family of 5 and the amenities were quite special. The location is out there a little ways, but that seclusion is not a bad thing. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Loved the experience and would return.

We really enjoyed the beautiful views from this house. Couldn’t ask for a closer beach location. We loved the sunsets. The beds were comfortable. They provided booster seats and the child safety gate which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Great beach location
Fantastic home just steps from beach. Had a great time relaxing, walking on beach and using clubhouse facilities ( tennis, heated pool, jacuzzi). The home is well-appointed and communication with host is great. Enjoyed wildlife viewing in nearby Elkhorn Slough and quick trip into Monterey. A great place to relax!

lovely retreat
such a lovely quiet place so close to the beach. easy to hop out and go for walks. day trips to monterey were easy. kitchen and home fully stocked made cooking easy. i would definately recommend this property, even in misty weather, can enjoy the view from the beautiful windows.

We enjoyed staying at this property so much! They have thought of all The details to make sure that their guests have an enjoyable stay. The accommodations were amazing and the view was phenomenal. The owners were so gracious. They even left us a bottle of wine and a gift for my mom’s birthday. They were so accommodating and thoughtful. The rental was clean and comfortable. Lisa spared no expense with this home. Fantastic set of appliances in the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, and even the bedrooms! There is an absolutely giant television in the living room and a very cool 3D TV in the kids room with plenty of 3D DVDs and Blu-Rays. Beach toys are also supplied. All you need to do is show up! As with most of the places at the Dunes, you're steps away from the beach. Overall, a fantastic place for a family stay.
