"Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long. "Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic.
