"Nice location - property is small and functional - car parking is a nightmare - bedroom is next to main road so is noisy when trying to sleep - bed comfy and having a fireplace was nice and cosy. Gardens and alleyway to street need sone tlc. "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at York cottage. There are several cottages so it felt like a tiny hamlet. Having access to the beautiful hotel grounds was a bonus, especially with having our dog with us. Inside the property was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Super clean, well equipped and with very comfortable beds. Sandsend within walking distance for those who don’t mind a 15-20mins walk (or a very short drive) and a brilliant beach, most of which is dog friendly. If...

"This was our second stay here for the three of us plus dog. Located near the castle and overlooking the railway, it’s ideally placed. Town is a two minute walk and, although parking is a street away, there was always free spaces. You’ll need reversing skills to get to the property to unload, as the house is on a narrow one way road, with no parking. The property is ideal for four, with two bathrooms and a decent sized kitchen/dining/living area. Happy to say, we’ll look for the property the next...
