"I really enjoyed my stay in the Blackstairs Shepard hut. The facilities in the main building were excellent and the hut was cosy and comfy with everything you'd need for a good night's sleep. Mary was full of helpful tips and suggestions for things to do in the area. The property was beautiful and the area was quiet and relaxing. Such an exclusive place to stay too as only 4 huts on the site. The location is great for exploring the local area and a couple of counties!"

"Wonderful views, lovely walking paths through the fields to the water and near the very friendly donkeys. Chairs set up to view the quiet valley ... the entire property and house were very clean. private bedrooms, shared living room for casual reading . bathroom was small but functional , beds were comfortable.. host was very kind nice sized town wasn't far away for dinner or drinks.. Lovely "
