"Nice house, 4 min walk to the beach and 7 min walk to the town centre. Nice house, only suggested improvement is the cleanliness of the bathroom (inc the shower). Apart from that nice deco, great little kitchen. Has wifi and a nice front garden. There is another flat below the main house but it was not renter at the time we stayed there. "A great week spent at Claires quiet and tranquil village house. Ideally located for a visit to the WW2 historical sites. Deceptively spacious, clean and with secure off road parking. Local supermarket only 2km away at Cruelly. Proved to be ideal for us touring the area on motorcycles. A little investment in some comfortable furniture would make it the perfect holiday spot. "We loved our stay in Luc sur Mer, especially being greeted by the peacocks! The house was great and had everything we needed. It even had 3 WC’s when we thought it only had two. The location is perfect for day trips to all of the D-Day beaches as well as Mont St. Michel. We would definitely stay here again!!"

"When we arrived, the smell of cigarettes was overpowering. It was advertised on vrbo as non-smoking but this is definitely not true. We woke up every morning with dry throats and all our clothes smelt of stale cigarettes. There was hardly any storage space for clothes, 3 out of 4 bedrooms had no storage at all. We has to live out of suitcases for a week which is ridiculous in such a big house. Toilets dont have sinks in them, so you have to walk a way to wash your hands after going to the...

"Luc was a lovely host. Great communication. The house was ideally positioned for the beach with its own private gate and parking. Easy to explore Normandy and the museums. Local bike hire was good to access the many good cycle paths in the area. The bakery opposite was lovely with baguettes croissants and very good quiche. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"We very much enjoyed our recent stay in Ryes! The house is charming and well-equipped, and was the perfect location for exploring Bayeux and the D-Day beaches and museums. The host, Alexandre, shared information about the area, left plenty of instructions for how the house/appliances work, and responded quickly to my messages.
