"Apartment has been nicely renovated. Amazing views of the sea. We enjoying watching the tides. Morning walk to get fresh fish. Grocery is within walking distance and has a good selection. Superb base camp for visiting the D-Day beaches, monuments, and within driving distance of Mont St Michel. Relaxing trip!"

"Communication was a bit of a problem as I don’t speak French and never received an actual address. A bit of a smell when we arrived and a few bugs in the unit. However, we loved the backyard garden area and spent the entire evening back there. Also to note, no hand or dish drying towels in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. There is no dishwasher here."

"This was the best decision to stay here! Beautiful property right on Gold Beach, in a town that feels like you are back in time. Walk out to the mulberry harbors at low tide and experience the real French countryside. An adorable town with good food, a beautiful property with views that we will never forget. The property manager was so helpful - we had one issue in the translation of the property info on vrbo. It said bed sheets were provided, but only the bed sheets for the bed are provided...

"We just had a wonderful stay in Bayeux! Christophe was a great host, very communicative. Location was perfect, we could walk into town through a beautiful nature preserve and it is centrally located for visiting the sites of Normandy. Our kids loved exploring the property and nature preserve."

"Property has incredible location on the water front/beach. Historical location very unique. Well centered for all WWII Sites, Grand Camp Maisy Battery, point du Hoc, Omaha beach and other Beach sites for D-Day, St Mere Egliase, and other D-Day Battle locations. It truly only had one Toilet. The Sinks and Shower are in one room with washer and Dryer. The toilet is in separate small room. Bedrooms are small but all is workable and functional. Kitchen has everything you need. Little bar is fun and...

"Very good property with everything that we needed for our 5 night stay close to hand. Property was clean and well equipped. Lilianna made us feel very welcome upon arrival. We definitely needed a car to get about in the local area. Area was very quiet and peaceful."
