"Wonderful place, especially for rest and relaxation. Well placed between a number of different river beaches. Much needed swimming pool to cool down in. Best thing about it is the host. He provides so much information and is always on hand to help."

Tranquillité et dépaysement garanti dans ce petit village authentique. Le Wifi fonctionne même en étant nombreux. Cuisine bien équipée. Nous étions entourés des fruits. "Lovely, welcoming town and easy check in process. House is up a steep road but the views are worth it. The owner was attentive to our needs and promptly responded to any issues we had. The house is the last one on the road and the surrounding views from all windows and porch were amazing. We spent many hours on the porch watching the birds on the hillsides around us and the light change on the mountains across the valley. The access to the Serra da Estrela is wonderful and it is worth a walk...

"Exelente, bom café da manhã tem a cozinha no quarto. Recomendo fazer as refeições no restaurante Cristina. Tem que estar de carro é longe de tudo mas muito boa experiência e agradável é praticamente em uma zona bem rural. Recomendo!"

"We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location. "

"A little tired but still very comfortable... the walk to the pool is not the most accessible and anyone with issues with stairs should be aware - there are a lot to get to the pool from the hotel and back! Staff were lovely and the pool area was a great place to relax in the heat of the afternoon. "
