Comfortably sleeping 2 to 12 people, this exclusive country villa, set in a privileged position on the hillside called “Colline del sole” (Sun’s hills) near the picturesque village of Castelnuovo Magra, (between Liguria and Tuscany) just a stone’s throw from the Cinque Terre fishing villages and nature reserve. The villa, surrounded by Mediterranean trees affords superb views which embrace the whole Magra valley to the shimmering waters of the Ligurian Sea.

The villa has been carefully restored and renovated with fine traditional materials and fabrics of quality to offer all modern comforts.

THE GROUNDS

The large terrace extends to a shaded open living area. Here armchairs and a large dining table offer wonderful relaxation, leisurely breakfasts, and the perfect setting for romantic evening dinners overlooking the valley and the sea.

The garden is full of colorful flowers and Mediterranean trees, with shady areas for enjoying the refreshing sea breeze and exceptional views.

The swimming pool stands just in front of the large terrace fenced by a hedge to ensure exclusivity and privacy.

LOCATION

For seaside and sun lovers, for families and groups of friends, Villa Collina del Sole is the ideal base to visit Liguria and part of Tuscany and discover the excellent local food. Not to mention that you can reach the seaside in 10 minutes by car, both the wild beaches in the Cinque Terre and the more elegant of Versilia.

Moreover thanks to the villa’s strategic location you can easily reach interesting tourist and cultural sights both in Liguria and in Tuscany: Portovenere and the marvelous Cinque Terre, Golfo dei Poeti (Poets’Gulf), Portofino and Genova.

A must stay!
This is a great place to stay in Italy if you are visiting Cinque Terre, Florence, Carrara or anywhere in between! Paulina and Marco are fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Their house is wonderful!!!! We loved it so much!

Sehr angenehmes Haus. Der Hit war natürlich der Pool, vor allem für die Kinder. Mario hat uns auch gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants gegeben. Alles in allem ein gelungener Familienurlaub.

Großartige Unterkunft für Cinque Terre Urlaub
Hohe Erwartungen von den Bildern wurden noch übertroffen, alles ist in echt noch großzügiger als auf den Bildern. Der große Speiße- und Wohn-raum bot auch für unsere 10er Gruppe mehr als genug Platz und der Pool war auch im September noch sehr gut nutzbar. Alle bestens.

Toller Urlaub mit Freunden
Wir haben zusammen mit Freunden (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) eine tolle Woche hier verbracht. Der Pool ist super und hat jeden Tag für viel Spaß bei groß und klein gesorgt. Die Villa liegt am Hang und Abends haben wir auf der großen Terrasse den Blick bis aufs Meer (15 min mit dem Auto) genossen. Das Haus war für uns 8 schön groß und mit den vielen Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern ideal für uns. Für die Einfahrt braucht man allerdings ein Auto mit viel Bodenfreiheit. Unser Gastgeber Mario war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hat ums mit vielen Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflügen versorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Geräumige Villa mit Pool
Großzügiges Haus mit 3 Bädern, teilweise etwas kleine Schlafzimmer, für Kinder okay - Erwachsene sicherlich grenzwertig. Ausstattung/Einrichtung mehr als ausreichend, Pool sauber und gross. Villa liegt oberhalb und hat Meerblick, dafür aber vor allem Nachts etwas laut. Sehr netter Vernieter der zu jederzeit erreichbar war. Wir waren mit 10 Personen + 1 Kleinkind da.

SUPERBE VILLA AU CALME
Super maison, vue magnifique le soir des terrasses, le propriétaire est très sympathique, dommage que mon mauvais anglais et la barrière de la langes est présente sinon parfait ! à 10 minutes de la gare de Sarzana pour prendre les trains italiens qui sont pas cher, climatisé et à l'heure !!!

Great place for a family holiday
Well situated villa with lots of things do see and do in the very nice area. The house had a well functioning and well equipped kitchen, suitable for cooking for our large family. Since it was quite warm and we are a large family, an extra refrigerator would have been great. The pool and area around it was very nice and the view of the sea was great.

Le propriétaire de la villa est au petit soin. La situation géographique reste relativement loin de la mer et des attractivités touristiques (Pise,5 terres etc). La maison est spacieuse ce qui a nécessité 24heures pour obtenir une température agréable.

Superbe villa
Belle et grande villa avec vue magnifique sur la mer, très bien équipée. Une grande piscine fait le bonheur des enfants comme de leurs parents. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis dans cette superbe région.

Traumhafter Umgebung
Es hat alles Reibungslos geklappt, der Eigentümer hat uns sehr nett empfangen, das Haus ist wunderschön und einigermaßen Sauber (Alters entsprechend). Die Lage ist Wunderschön aber nicht so Ruhig. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage daher muss man Nachts die Fenster Ofen lassen und da die Nachbarhunde ununterbrochen bellen kommt man nicht so zur Ruhe. Einfahrt der Villa ist nur für Geländewagen leicht durchgängig, hat man in der Beschreibung nicht angedeutet. Die Ausblick ist wirklich Traumhaft und die Menschen sehr nett, die Küche und das Haus ist volleingerichtet wobei wieder altersbedingt einsatzfähig. Im großen und ganzen ist das Haus zu empfehlen.

Belle villa proche de différents sites touristiques (un peu trop touristiques). Cette villa est spacieuse, bien décorée et la piscine est géniale. Néanmoins, il y a deux gros points noirs avec cette habitation : - il y a beaucoup de bruits aux alentours (klaxons de voiture, aboiements de chiens, ambulance, ...). - si vous ne possédez pas un SUV, il n'est pas possible de se garer dans l'allée de la maison.

Splendid stay with fantastic view
The villa itself was pretty, very well equipped and comfortable - with plenty of room for a family with 3 teenage/adult children who needed their space! The outdoor area is gorgeous, and again very spacious, with a wonderfully clean pool which was perfect for relaxing and cooling down. From the poolside and the house itself there are exceptional views across the sea and the Magra's valley, which were breathtaking both day and night, with beautiful sunsets. We hope to return!

Fantastic seascape
The villa was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is wild and gorgeous. I highly recommend Massimo's wine tours - he is very knowledgeable but not pretentious at all. All in all, one of the most welcoming destinations I have had the pleasure to experience as a traveler.

FABULOUS !
Perfect location for holidays with kids or (and) friends!! We spent 14 days at Mario's villa and we would like to extend additional 14 days due to the great time we had! The accommodation has everything what you need and is in a realy good shape. Mario is a great host! Every time available, but not intrusive. The recommendations of him were all perfect. The best days we had, were the dinners on terrace with sea view and spectacular sunsets!

Cozy and Romantic !
We had a wonderful romantic time at this villa in spring time. The pool is perfectly sized adults and kids. The surrounding areas have Restaurants, Wineries, Medieval villages, Castles, Churches and the beach!! There is even quite a vibrant night life on the weekends for those inclined. Overall would not hesitate to book it again.

Heerlijk huis in een fantastische omgeving!
Wij, twee gezinnen met in totaal vijf jonge kinderen (leeftijd variërend van 9 tot 14 jaar oud), hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in deze woning en in deze omgeving! We vonden het jammer om te moeten vertrekken. De woning is nog luxer ingericht en beter afgewerkt dan wij hadden verwacht. De woning heeft een ruim deels overdekt terras met een geweldig uitzicht waar je heerlijk kunt eten met z’n allen! En voor wie van koken houdt, die kan zich volledig uitleven in de zeer goed uitgeruste keuken en met de grote 'Weber' barbecue die op het terras staat. Verder is het zwembad écht super!: Lekker groot met zout water (geen chloor), goed zichtbaar vanaf het overdekte terras (fijn voor toezicht op spelende kinderen) en goed uitgerust met hele fijne ligbedden. Ook is er naast het zwembad wat schaduwrijk gras waarop je heerlijk kunt liggen. De slaapkamers en bedden zijn prima en de indeling van de woning sloot goed aan bij onze gezinnen. We hebben twee weken lang heel mooi weer gehad en fijn was dat het dan ’s avonds afkoelde. Ook is er 's middags regelmatig een fijn briesje op het terras. Wat het verblijf in deze woning zeer speciaal maakte, was de gastvrije & zeer servicegerichte houding van eigenaar Mario. Hij wist ons telkens op een hele positieve manier te verrassen! Verder was het fijn dat hij erg goed Engels sprak. Kortom, een échte aanrader deze woning en omgeving!

Great location - nice house - stunning pool
Perfect setting for our "three-generations-plus-dog" vacation. Incredible view of the Magra valley and the sea, great saltwater pool, terrace and garden, nice and well equipped house, perfect hot weather with an always refreshing breeze on the terrace and an extremely nice owner and host. Thanks, Mario, for your warm reception with a nicely refreshing bottle of wine and your restaurant recommendations. We tried them all! A great place to spend a relaxing time, visit the area with short trips to Pisa, Lucca, La Spezia, Sarzana, the beaches, the Cinque Terre,... We enjoyed it very much!
