Chianti Classico, Sienese side and Arceno estate – one thousand hectares of hamlets, woods, centuries-old cypresses and rows of vines and olive groves as far as the eye can ee, twenty-eight kilometres of perfectly maintained country lanes, where years ago Ridley Scott and Leonardo Di Caprio stayed for short periods and where entrepreneurs, artists, sportspeople stay today.

1/ This is a charming Villa set amidst an amazing panaroma. It is in a perfect location to enjoy a relaxing vacation with family and friends alike, whilst experiencing the unique appeal and attractions of Tuscany.

2/ You can enjoy a special holiday in a luxury villa on a beautiful estate in Tuscany, the most famous and visited region of Italy. La Cappella is an independent and private Villa, with it own expansive garden, olive grove and lawn to enjoy. There is a grand outdoor covered terrace for relaxing, dining and generally enjoying the wonderful views.

3/ The surrounding area in Tuscany has the best in architecture, art, culture, fine food and wine. There are numerous excursions and activities that can be undertaken. There are recommended itineraries to the many towns within close proximity, or visits to some of the famous local vineyards. There is also comprehensive information for guests regarding other excursions and activities that may be undertaken during your stay. We can also refer you to a local cycling business, Chianti Bicycles in Castelnuovo Berardenga. Here you can rent road, racing, mountain, hybrid or electrical bikes.

4/ We can arrange for a prominent Italian chef to come to the Villa to cook and present a fabulous evening meal for your party. Alternatively, you may prefer to dine out at one of the many local restaurants that are referred to in the House Book. If you are interested in Italian food, private cooking lessons can be arranged with this talented chef. He is a celebrity chef at prominent establishments in USA where he visits every winter.

Our recently restored residence comprises 3 double bedrooms, 3 modern en suite bathrooms, a guest bathroom, laundry, a modern kitchen, dining room, living room leading to a grand terrace and private gardens. It also includes a Welcome Basket comprising good wine, local olive oil, food for the first evening's meal and breakfast plus essential food condiments. The Tenuta di Villa d'Arceno is a high quality wine producer and exporter. There is an unique feeling of grandeur and serenity about the estate. The main Villa on the estate originates from 17th century, having been owned by an aristocractic Senese family. There are interesting walks and bike riding can be undertaken within the estate .

19/ The estate is situated only 7 km north of the Siena - Arezzo motorway. The airports of Florence and Perugia are about 75 minutes drive. Pisa and Bologna Airports are about 2 hours by car .

Beautiful house in fantastic landscape
We enjoyed our stay a lot and will return for another holiday. The house was just perfect. And we were thrilled by all the thoughtful little touches like the welcome basket, the great books, dvds and cds. Larissa welcomed us, was very kind, answered all our questions and gave us great tips. A wonderful place to get to know the Toscana.

Tuscany Italy - Beautiful Location and Views from a Villa Outside of Sienna
We had a lovely time here. The villa is charming and the location is stunning! Set in the middle of Tuscany (east of Siena), the Italian countryside and towns are beautiful. The Italian people were friendly and relaxed. This was a perfect Tuscan vacation. Thank you! We will return.

Perfect
Property was exactly as described. Clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. Location provides the “Tuscan feel” we were looking for yet was driving distance to Siena, Orvieto, Montalcino and other locations. Worth noting, communication with the owner and local property manager was excellent. You will not be disappointed with the property.

Peace & Tranquility
Now I have to wait a whole year to return. Probably the highlight to our two month stay in Italy! The villa was exactly as pictured and described. Clean, nicely furnished, 3 bedrooms and 3-1/2 baths. The outdoor patio and attached pool were the best place in the am and eve.

Return Stay
We love this property. This is the second time we have stayed here. The owner Stefan is great. To be honest the management has slipped a little and it was difficult to communicate with new manager. You have to love the country and it is about 10 minutes using dirt roads to get to the Villa. The Villa is a great value and a great location. If you love peace and quiet and good local restaurants and wineries this is the place for you.

Very nice house in beautiful place
Tuscany is beautiful country, and this house is located in very nice part, in Chianti. So this part is green, even there was no rain for 2 months. House is spacious, well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and this place is very quiet, so you will sleep very well. Eleonora is very pleasant and helpful, speeks very well English and is accommodating. We enjoyed our holiday.

Wonderful Experience
Everything you think of in a Tuscany get away this property offers. Although a little challenging to get to, the information and directions provided by the owners was excellent. The Villa is exactly as described in VRBO. Do not miss having Andrea the recommended Chef spend the day shopping with you and providing a cooking lesson and dinner with his wife at the Villa. All six of us had a very special 10 days at this priority and wished it did not have to end.

Great peaceful break near Siena
The location is great, with walks immediately around the house and lots of lovely towns and villages to visit. Even a good go-Karting track! The house itself is brilliant - very well suited for a family, with bathrooms part of or very close to every bedroom, an easy use kitchen, and convenient dining tables both in and out doors. My wife and I particularly valued the delightful Italian cotton sheets(!) and comfortable beds. Finally, and not insignificantly, Barbara (who looks after the property locally), was a font of useful local knowledge and very entertaining with her many stories of events over the years on the estate and in the vicinity. In the house there was a very useful guide for activities in the area. We loved our stay!

Fabulous villa off the beaten tourist path
Three of us spent a terrific week at this remarkable property. The villa was spacious, comfortable and equipped with modern amenities. A great getaway, with wonderful alfresco dining, the setting is absolutely gorgeous, with views of nearby villages within 20-30 minutes walking distance. Having spent the first three days of our stay in bustling Rome, we found this villa to be an ideal location for exploring Tuscany. The owners were remarkable hosts, escorting us on a day trip to nearby Montalcino to visit local wineries. We heartily recommend this villa to those who want a private, tranquil place to rest, relax and recreate! Authentic Tuscany is right outside your door.

Lovely location in the Chianti region
My family and I spent a lovely week here in late August. The property was just as described, very clean, and had lovely views over the Tuscan countryside. The way the light changes at the end of the day was truly magical. The pool was a really nice feature too, especially for our boys who used it daily. Esther and Stefan were very easy and pleasant to work with, and provided a lot of useful advice and information on the region, both in their email communications and in a binder in the villa. Jalissa, their local representative, was very helpful and efficient too -- checking and out were a breeze as a result. Overall an excellent experience and one I would heartily recommend to anyone looking for a base in the southern end of the Chianti region.

Idyllic Getaway in Tuscany
We recently stayed 5 nights here as the first leg of a 2 week trip. We could not be happier with our experience. The home was beautiful, even better than the listing. We truly felt that we came home each night after long days driving around Tuscany. Comfortable beds, cozy kitchen and living area and an amazing yard. We sat outside as much as possible, even though the weather was cool. The thoughtful inclusion of bread, butter, sauce, coffee, etc was such a welcoming touch and we can’t speak highly enough about the property manager, Eleanor. She was amazing, so helpful and always available for questions or suggestions. In one sentence, Book This Home!. It was an incredible experience.

Charming villa in the heart of Chianti Classico
This villa was amazing! Quintessential Tuscan landscape, amazing alfresco dining, modern amenities, everything you would want and more. We arrived in mid-June for a week long stay with our three teenage children. They were thrilled to be away from the bustle of the cities and they had plenty of room to spread out and make themselves at home. Shopping in Castelnuovo was their favorite, as well as dinners in San Gusme with Stefano. Getting in and out of the villa is a bit nail-biting at times (meeting up with a semi-tractor on the winding road - yikes!), but once you knew the road it was much easier. Location is fabulous - within the heart of Chianti Classico with easy day trips to Greve, Gaiole, Siena, Cortona, Pienza, Montelpulciano, etc. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a truly authentic Tuscan holiday!

Quiet and peaceful Tuscan countryside retreat
This was my favorite place I stayed in Tuscany during a visit of over a month. I stayed in Siena and Florence, and while those were nice, nothing beat the views and serenity offered in this Tuscan villa. I spent every evening on the patio eating dinner. I was there to spend time writing and reading. I also enjoyed w/ my spouse the winery not too far away, and an amazing meal in Villa a Sesta recommended by the thorough guidebook. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for our family of 3, probably more than we needed. The views were truly spectacular. It was only about 25 minutes into Siena, and also was easy to get to Chianti. Other Tuscan hill towns were about 30 minutes to an hour away. The best place in rural Tuscany.

Perfect Stay!
We arrived at this villa exhausted after a long day of travel and were so very happy to find such an amazing place for our week in Tuscany. We were two brothers with wives and one college age girl who was doing her semester abroad in Florence. The villa is perfect for privacy and comfort for two families or couples. Having the lovely living areas on the main floor and bedrooms on the second floor and in the lower floor gave everyone privacy. The welcome "gift" of everything that we needed to put together a delicious dinner on our first night was so thoughtful. The property is a perfect place for long walks among olive trees and vineyards and is perfectly situated among many small villages and towns. We loved having outdoor spaces with pretty views for dining and drinking wonderful local wine. All in all, this villa is top-notch. We will return!

Issues in an unusually hot summer
The villa was lovely. We were surprised how far the villa was off a paved road, which added significant travel time to any location. The extreme heat made the stay uncomfortable. The ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms were not effective. Days were spent trying to manage the heat. It is essential the owner provide functioning fans throughout. Minor inconveniences were: appliances didn’t have non-standard adapters provided— for coffee makers, hair dryers etc.

Great villa in a wonderful location in one of the most pleasant places in Europe
This was our fourth visit to Tuscany, and each time we try to stay in a different area so that we can visit small towns as well as the typical tourist towns and areas. Capella di Pancole's location was ideally suited for this. We were able to visit well known cities from Assisi to Siena to Florence, as well as smaller towns like Asciano and Colle di Val d'Elsa (great morning market!) and many others. Of course the villa was equal to the beautiful photos, with all of the amenities provided (much more than typically provided). Beatrice was very accommodating in our arrival arrangements and, we had no problems finding the property using the GPS coordinates provided. We were able to observe harvesting of the grapes on the estate and take many walks on the estate (with occasional wild boar sightings). Thank you Beatrice for your assistance and thank you Stefan & Ester for sharing your lovely villa!

Our expectations were exceeded by this wonderful villa and location
My husband and I traveled with friends for our first trip to the Chianti region of Italy. Capella di Pancole was such a refreshing place to unpack our bags and make it our home. We were only there for 5 nights, but made the most of all this lovely location had to offer. We were warmly greeted by the owners with a welcome basket filled with just the right things to make a quick dinner for our first night there. Then to our morning with Chef Andrea Anichini, when we went shopping at an organic garden, a cheese shop, bakery and the "Coop", securing all we needed for our cooking lesson later that day into the night with Andrea and his wife. It was such a pleasure to be able to bring the chef to our villa for this cooking experience, so we could enjoy being "at home" with such a spectacular view of the vineyards....it was all just picture perfect! This location was perfect for our plan to visit different hilltop villages in the area each day, then return to our villa for lighter meals made from the surplus vegetables from our cooking class (good idea to do this early in your visit so you can eat it all!!) Thank you for such a clean, warm and beautiful Italian home!

This house was lovely in and of itself. New bathrooms and kitchen but with old Tuscan charm. We were initially condemned about not having air conditioning, but found we had no Collins problems at all even in late July with the thick stone walls and windows and fans. The location was peaceful and quiet -- set in the middle of a lovely vineyard estate. Our views were spectacular. The house was also centrally located for both the chianti and Brunello wine regions we wanted to visit. We loved being secluded yet close to Sienna, Volterra, Montalcino and Montepulciano. The drives were lovely and returning to our quiet peaceful setting and beautiful home was just what we hoped for in a Tuscan vacation. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to others! Also the towels and bedding provided were very nice (a personal pet peeve of mine) and Stefan and his wife and the house manager Brigitte were very gracious and remembered my aunt's birthday with wine and gifts for which we planned the trip. 5 stars all around!

Amazing villa and location!
My family and family friends stayed a week at the villa for a week in June. It was amazing! The villa was beautiful, in great shape, and had all the amenities we needed. We had a generous welcome basket and a local contact to answer all our questions (she even printed something for us). Seeing the Tuscan hillside through big open windows, sitting on the porch, or playing in the yard is a site and feeling that can't be beaten. The pool was fun and a big hit with my kid. The surroundings are incredibly relaxing. The location of the villa was terrific. The nearby towns are picturesque and fun to explore. Siena and Florence are close and easy day trips. There was a terrific cooking class nearby that we took. A lot of the famous towns and towns that are less famous but still beautiful and worth a trip were 45 - 90 minutes away. And after site seeing we drove through the beautiful vineyard where the villa was located. Stefan, the owner, was incredibly responsive as we planned our trip. He even called part-way through our stay to make sure everything was going well. Stefan pointed us in the direction of other things we wanted like a chef for a night. The villa is stocked with guidebooks and maps, making it easy to plan trips. I would definitely recommend staying in this villa.
