"The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."

It was perfectly clean, breakfast was impressive and delicious, staff was very helpful and we even did the spa one day which was private, peaceful, relaxing and again, super clean! There’s a bus service that goes to/from Taormina all throughout the day. Several excellent restaurants in Castelmola with Gallo Cedrone being our favorite hands down and it’s a 2 minute walk!"
