"I was in Benevento for a conference and had a fantastic stay at B&B Domus Traiani! The room and the rest of the place is very well maintained, great to have access to the kitchen and very easy to walk into downtown Benevento. A beautiful city with stunning views and fun to explore on foot - I also had a number of great runs around town. It's a climb but I recommend running out to the ridge above town with the abandoned Jesuit palace (~2.5 miles to get up on the ridge)."

"Check-in was a nightmare. The apartment was simply that. Special instructions had no phone number, so we couldn't contact proprietors. We spent more than an hour on the phone w/ a Travelocity rep in the Philippines while standing on the sidewalk in spitting rain. I finally pried a phone number from the rep, which my wife called. We finally got buzzed in remotely and there was a key card on the kitchen table. The apartment has potential, but it's drab and poorly maintained. The shower was not properly and there was dirt under the bed (I took pictures of both). There was grime on the light switches. We were left less than 1/3 roll of toilet paper. Perhaps at one time this apartment was a good choice. No so in May 2024."
