"We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. They said we didn’t cancel within the cancelation time frame?? This place is such a scam. I do not recommend unless you want to risk losing your money. "

"The agritourismo is in a beautiful setting in Aglianico wine country. I had an injured knee so did not have rental car. Giovanni picked us up and delivered us to our next hotel in Amalfi. He arranged his friend Gino to drive us to winery. Wonderful hospitality!"

"We made this our home base for exploring Capri, Naples, Paestum, Pompeii, etc. Ana is the perfect hostess. Her daughter in law is a fantastic chef. Bruna the dog is a welcomed visitor. We would highly recommend this choice for those driving around to various points of interest with a desire to sleep at a country estate every night with a home cooked dinner and breakfast."

"This lovely, mountainside hotel was one of our best stays anywhere EVER!! The owner/manager Sergi took care of us himself, since it was shoulder season and we had the hotel to ourselves, and his incredible Mama was the chef for one of our best meals in Italy -- or maybe anywhere. "Casa Rosa is a large house with space and comfort for 8 although we were only 7. The pool is large and Guiseppe keeps it beautifully clean. The house is located within an hour of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum the Amalfi Coast and is an ideal place to sight see all the extraordinary monuments around Vesuvius. Guiseppe is kind and responsive host, his neighbours less so but he did everything to make our stay a happy and agreeable one. "
