Maintenance, please
We embarked on a trip to Tuscany, filled with excitement for our stay in Castelfiorentino. The dusty road led us to a charming house, but our excitement was soon dampened by issues such as a malfunctioning toilet and mosquito-infested nights. Despite the picturesque setting, the lack of amenities like ventilators (due to missing electrical outlets) made our stay uncomfortable. The persistent mosquito problem, along with a sewage smell in the downstairs bathroom, added to our woes. The cleanliness of the house left much to be desired, with dirty kitchen utensils and cutlery requiring multiple washes. Our relaxation by the pool was marred by a surprise water outage, forcing us to forgo a shower or toilet before dinner at a nice restaurant. Next to beautiful Tuscany, the highlight of our stay was the delightful "Chiosko Ai Renai" close to the house, where we enjoyed delicious Italian fare and warm hospitality. It stood out as a beacon of excellence in an otherwise lackluster experience.
