We do like old school hotels when traveling in Europe. However at Notarie, it simply needs a facelift with current style of mamagement. ..."

"A very nice, clean hotel. We found the beds to be much harder than we like. The service at breakfast, although friendly, could be very slow. There was supposed to be some hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, but they were usually cold and poorly replenished"

"Check in was quick but the attendant wasn’t friendly. We were looking for ice and all he had to say was - no ice. My room didn’t have a shower head, lacked a set of robes and slipper which I had made the staff aware."
