COTTAGE WITH PANORAMIC , AMAZING POOL. 1KM ON FOOT FROM THE VILLAGE

The OLIVO Cottage is part of the beautiful framhouse Monti 1824 in Casole d'elsa, Siena composed by 3 cottages and 3 apartments.

Monti 1824 is completly family run, and it is our own personal commitment to great care of the estate and the gardens to make this place a special one, not just for us but also for all our visitors. Me ( Federica) and my parents work together to keep Monti 1824 at its best and to give our guests a complete assistance during the stay. It is in our choice not to have an official reception office. Maybe you need any assistance? or simply have a question? You can knock at our door of our home. There will be always someone available to help you! The Olivo Cottage has a private location but not far from the main farm, where we live.

The concept of a family enviroment is related also to the holiday accommodation: made to be family friendly. The garden is contained and well kept , just the type of place that invites to sit outside to read a book , play games or drink a nice glass of red wine (Chianti of course!).

The panoramic pool is set in a short distance from the cottage, so it is close enough reach by foot , but not too close that the fun and laughter will spill over into the garden.

The area lends itself to a fun filled family holiday, especially when you are interested about the local culture, traditions and meeting the Tuscans.

The OLIVO COTTAGE is completely renovated with all the comforts of a modern home. The ground floor has a kitchen equipped for self catering with 4 burner gas cooker, oven, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher. The cute little living room is very bright with large French doors, sofa and satellite TV. The kitchen leads to a secluded terrace at the rear of the building. The master bedroom is furnished in country Tuscan style with en-suite bathroom with shower. Upstairs feature and panoramic attic with 2 single beds and small wardrobe. The attic is opened and bright as well with two large windows and en suite bathroom in Tuscan style. The whole building is surrounded by an enclosed area and gated. The patio in front of the house is equipped with table and chairs to enjoy during the day of spectacular views over the countryside and at night the cool breeze. Private BBQ.

The swimming pool with panoramic views is equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols. Wi-fi on all outdoor areas.

The Olivo Cottage and the farmhouse are only 1 km from the nearby town of Casole d'Elsa, also reachable on foot via a scenic path with night lights. In Casole will find small restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, bank and post office.
During summer evenings are organized weekly markets and local events starting from 9.00pm.

Casole d'elsa is just 1 km from the Holiday House Monti 1824 ( there is a well mantained path , illuminated at night) and it is a lovely little town with an exceptionally packed social calendar. You will always find concerts , markets , activities and events that will bring you into the authentic atmosphere.

ABOUT CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT :

1.Check-in guaranteed not before than 16.00h and until 18.00h. In case of delay ,please contact previously the owner.

2.Check out by 9:00 am.

3.Delivery of the key by the owner ( no self check in )

OPTIONAL COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE:

+Heating ( on a pay per use basis) : 1.90 euros per hour. There is a thermostat with hour counter inside the apartment to allow the guests using it when they prefer. Period by law for heating use: 1 st November - 15 April .

+Washing machine: 5 euros / wash

+Extral change of towels and linen ( on request) : 16 euros per person

+Mid- cleaning ( on request) : 50 euros

+Pool towels ( on request) : 5 euros / each .Pool towels are not included in the towel set,so must be booked before the arrival date. If pool towels are not booked in advance we cannot guarantee to provide them.

+baby cot with sheets and towels ( on request) : 50 Euros - to pay locally and to book before arrival

+Air conditioning from June 1st to September 15th is included. Please note that at other times of the year it is not calculated in the rent but paid extra on site at a cost of 40 Euro per day / 280 Euro per week.
Air conditioning is only in the 2 bedrooms with 2 separate machines (cool only).


MANDATORY EXTRA COSTS:

STAY TAX : Stay tax will be requested in cash upon arrival and it mandatory for all guests starting from 12 years old : 2.50 Euros /night per person starting from 12 years old

PLEASE NOTE!

+ THE WIFI COVERS ONLY SOME OUTDOORS AREAS. Speedness variable. Not recommended for smart working.

+air conditioning is only in the 2 bedrooms with 2 separate machine ( only cool ). Use of the air conditioning as by law is allowed from 1st June until 15th September.

+Owners family lives in the farmhouse

+The farmhouse is composed of 6 holiday accommodations + swimming pool

+The pool is shared with the other accommodations of the holiday farmhouse Monti 1824 .

+Close to the local town Casole ( 1 km).

+Pool open from April 1st till October 30th (opening may vary depending on weather conditions). Opening time 8.00 - 19.30 .

+Guests will find only upon arrival a starter kit with some courtesy products to start their stay : toilet paper roll ( 2) , hand soap, some dish soap, a few dishwasher tablets.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDDEN!

-introuduce people not included in the reservation and not recorded as Monti 1824 's guests inside the estate (swimming pool, garden, apartment and parking)

-smoking inside the accommodation

-organize parties or meetings
