You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Beautiful updated cottage; sleeps 6; short stroll to shared, private sandy BEACH

This is the one! Cute, cozy, & clean year-round house with 60’ private subdivision residents'-only beach. Beach has a huge deck with built-in benches and a high-top island. Deck is great for morning coffee, happy hour, sunset & star gazing, or watching the kids swim.

Our private, small subdivision has an Extraordinary sandy beach (not visible from cottage due to small hill) which is less than a 2 min walk to access across the road. We also have a wagon for you to easily transport your beach gear.

We sleep six. There are two bedrooms; one located on the main floor & one on the upper floor (loft type, no door, but visually private) - there is also a queen sofa bed in the living room.

Everything needed for a great stay is provided. Fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher.

When not enjoying the beach, or visiting nearby Caseville & Port Austin, there’s plenty to do at the cottage—relax on the back deck, grill your meals using our propane BBQ grill; play a game of cornhole, enjoy a campfire at the fire pit in the backyard.

We also can provide a highchair; pack n play crib, stroller & baby gate, at no charge; just let us know in advance what you need.

For your indoor entertainment, we have a large collection of DVD's, Books, puzzles, board games, playing cards, toys, Xfinity streaming HD TV & WI-Fi. You will need your own password for premium apps such as Netflix, etc.

We welcome your pet, depending on the breed & other factors; send us an INQUIRY stating breed & age PRIOR to booking. No pit bulls allowed. (pet fee of $100/stay applies). Once approved, select “bringing pets” when you book.

We provide you with information at the cottage on all our favorite spots & attractions.

We are hands-on proprietors. We don’t use a property mgr., nor manage from afar, & it shows. We take pride in providing you the best vacation venue for making memories.

Beautiful Cabin
Beautiful Cabin as always, cozy and a great location right outside Caseville and Port Austin. Had everything we needed and more. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to relax!

Cozy cottage
I booked this cottage so my husband and I could take my parents to Caseville for a quick weekend getaway. Our daughter and her 16 month old son joined us. The cottage is super cute and very clean. It is conveniently located right off the main road with easy access to the beach. Cheryl is a wonderful host!

Cheeseburger Festival weekend
We came up for the festival. We had some friends come up for day visits as this rental is about 2 hours from home. We absolutely loved our stay. The beach and patio was great and location of the property was excellent

The property was better than describe. Great beach access and everything we wanted at the property! Great communication and the beds were comfortable. I also loved that there was a ton of bathroom towels. It’s the little things and that’s what they do right here.

Accurate listing description, beautifully redone interior with an open and accommodating layout for a big family. Ample sleeping spaces available. Would definitely stay again. The proximity between lots was a bit tight to the neighbors, but everyone was friendly. Beach access was fantastic, with clear and clean sand and water.

Relaxing Family getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very cute and clean. We loved that we could have our fur babies along. The area was the perfect halfway spot between Port Austin and Caseville. Also the beach was just a short walk and pretty much empty. We spent time in town, had many bonfires, a movie night and fun beach time! We plan to stay again.

This house was exactly how pictured and more! The place was very clean and organized. They had everything you could need for a weekend getaway. The biggest plus was the beautiful beach with private access. We were so happy that we could bring our dog and let her enjoy the beach as well. She loves the water! 10/10 would stay here again!

Thanks Cheryl and Jim, We had such a fun time at your place! The location was amazing, the access to the beach was better than expected, and the cottage is adorable! The only critiques from our group were that the mattresses were not comfortable and the kitchen and bedrooms weren’t as clean as expected. Overall we were extremely pleased and can’t wait to be back. Thanks again!

We had a fun few days, Cheryl was attentive to our text's and call's and responded quickly. Main bedroom should be a queen size and both rooms need new mattresses other than that everything was nice.

Fantastic Stay
I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to convey my satisfaction with this place. It's quiet and relaxing. Very easy to get to the beach, which is beautiful. The deck on the beach is perfect for sitting, having a drink and watching the kids play in the water. The backyard has a great fire pit and grill. Port Austin is a 15 minute drive and a great little Michigan beach town. There is a nice hiking area about 8 minute drive from the property. Communication with the owner was impeccable. Overall, we hit the nail on the head for this quick vacation to get away from the city.

Great little getaway
Great little house for a family getaway. Myself, my husband, 3.5 yr old, a 5 month old and 2 smaller dogs. We stayed at the end of the summer season, and had the beach entirely to ourselves. It’s close enough you can easily and quickly walk back n forth with the baby. The 3 year old loved having The loft upstairs to herself. House has lots of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, etc for guests’ use. There was even a lead for a dog. Loved it!

Restful Weekend
My husband, daughter, and I joined friends for a weekend away in Caseville. The house was adorable and clean. The host had plenty of kitchen amenities for cooking while we were there, always a plus! It was smaller than I anticipated base on photos, something I think just happens with a lot of rentals, but it didn't impact our fun at all. The way the photos are it seemed like we would be right on the water, but the deck is a short walk away. Again, not something that impacted fun, but something to note. The fire pit was also nice to have, especially since it turned out to be chilly fall evenings. We would definitely visit again!

Perfect for our family of four!
Very cute, little home right between Caseville and Port Austin…so it was easy to visit both. We went in the middle of the week in August, and we had the beach all to ourselves. It was really quite amazing. You don’t get that very often in Michigan in the summer! Our little pooch loved it, too. The walk to the beach is very short - maybe 100 yards. Our only issue was with the Wi-Fi. It went out several times while we were there. We just rebooted the modem each time, but it was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it was great. We would go again!

A weekend refresher
My husband, our 2 smaller dogs and I were lucky enough to find this hidden gem! Had 3 nights away from the hustle and bustle of reality and the city. Rental had everything one could ask for, and then some! We were very pleased with the weather/temps: we got lucky! 70-80 degrees, low mosquito count. It is just off the main highway tucked back into the woods. A short 2 min walk to the beach. Beautiful sandy beach. Our pups loved it too. Great thin rocks on beach to be found and for skipping across Beautiful Lake Huron. Enjoyed the campfire, in the evenings. Lots to see and do. Loved the binder in cottage of attractions, things to do. We happen to catch the Caseville car show. It was a lot of fun. Cheryl was always available by text/phone. Answering all of our questions and a wonderful hostess. Thank you for the cute magnet gift that you made. It is a perfect rememberance of a perfect weekend. Loved your little treasure of a cottage. Thanks for the reboot!
