"I was very happy with my stay at this location of a Parador. My room was large and had plenty of room to spread out. The room retained the style of the building. One strange thing was that the chairs for sitting were really short. Breakfast buffet was nice and had lots of choices plus you could order omelets and espresso drinks. I wish the restaurant opened at 7am"

"Beautifully decorated property in a wonderful, vibrant, walkable neighborhood. This property is comfortable, spacious, stylish— and just NICE. New furnishings, new finishes, and quality throughout. Had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. I especially loved being on the 3rd floor (4th for us Americans), with three sets of double doors that opened onto miniature balconies (not a balcony where you could sit, but with a railing that turned the living room, dining room, and bedroom into delightful indoor/outdoor spaces. I could bring the outdoors inside, and feel the energy of the city without leaving the apartment. And, yes, there is an elevator, so it was easy to get luggage to the apartment. This is a great place!"

"After a long Camino walk it was nice to rest in my hotel room that had a view of the water and castle walls. The check in was lengthy and I did not feel treated like the other guests as I had just come off the trail. Service in bar was great. "

"We were in Vigo for three nights on our way from Paris to Lisbon. This has been the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The room was spacious, with built ins and shelves easily accommodating toiletries and clothes. the Queen bed really comfortable and two pillows of different styles - very comfy. The first morning we were late to breakfast - but the supervisor made sure that the full selection was available - fresh orange juice (you see them being squeezed) reasonable coffee, fresh fruit, cereal, meats and cheese, tomato, toast, rolls, pastries - the lot. Meanwhile, every trip to explore, we checked ideas with the reception. They provided terrific advice - from using the travelator on Gran Via to get to Castro Park, to finding good places to eat. A thoroughly wonderful few days - unexpectedly excellent"

"The property has huge bay windows and no buildings blocking your view of the estuary. It is by the Vigo Uzaiaz train station and taxi stand. There is an activity park across the street and a boardgame store on the same block. Easy walk to old town and Castelo do Castro"
