"We had three night in Rome and we wanted a place that was convenient, but now super expensive. This stay worked great for us! The room was very modern and the shower worked. The two hotels we stayed at in Florence and Venice were quaint and old but the shower was broken at both places. There was a rooftop restaurant that you could eat at if desired. We used the nearby mini market to get groceries which was less than a block away and helped us save money on eating out. We were able to catch the metro (just a few blocks away) and easily access the sites on Rome we wanted to visit. We didn’t see very many tourists in the area (more residential)."

"Right across from subway/train and close to bus terminal. A couple of bars around hotel for off hour food. Clean,urban setting. Rooms immaculate no issues there. "

"Genuinely, was shocked at the bad reviews for this place. Hotel Artis was the BEST experience in Rome. SUPER short walk to the Metro Station which can get you to anywhere in Rome in minutes, great staff (who speak at least two languages), great coffee, spritzes and more. Hotel Artis is the SPOT!"

"Great location, within walking distance of the train station and colosseum. The breakfast buffet is really good, definitely better than any I've had in the U.S. Good fitness center...that's very important to me, and most hotels I looked at in Rome didn't have one. The staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. Only negative is the shower doors only go halfway across the shower which means water ends up all over the bathroom floor. Apparently this is common in Italian hotels but this means a lot more towels are used every day which means wasting energy and water - not eco-friendly. "

"Great property if hard to find. Buffet breakfast is worth the money. Good American and European fare. Lovely room with easy lighting, good shower and bathroom plumbing. Felt like a luxury stateroom on a great cruise. "

"Property was well kept with amazing staff. Quiet residential neighborhood but walkable and safe. Breakfast was delicious and fresh daily. Drinks in the garden are a must after a long day. This is a must stay hotel when visiting Roma. I will definitely be returning. "
