"great place"

"We absolutely loved our stay. It was cosy and clean at a good location near restaurants and bars. We barely needed to use any form of public transportation. Amenities were good - the bottle of wine was a nice touch. We were able to store our luggages after check out. Veronica who runs the place was super responsive with any questions we had. Overall no complaints. If there was one thing that we had to fault - it would be no full length mirrors. But this is a really minor point"

"The team running Porto Downtown lovers appartment were excellent, good communication, attentive and friendly. Beautiful, clean and secure appartments that look exactly like the photos. Interesting arty area of Porto, easily walkable to all the parts of Porto you want to see. Cafe Diogo, across the road is the best!"

"Wonderful shower. Great bed. Limited wi-fi which was later corrected. The staff was nice, helpful—but three blocks away. I unplugged the very noisy fridge. "

Booklet provided in the room gave us very useful and detailed info to all near by shops. Beautiful and meticulous design. Very comfortable beds. Centrally located. "What a terrible experience. The property requires an access code to enter the rooms and I didn't receive the access code for my first night. I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer. I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...

"Incredible apartment that really suited my wife and I. In the heart of the historic centre of Porto and close to many sights and restaurants. Communications were really easy and our host was extremely helpful providing local information on best restaurants, bars and places to visit. Porto is a wonderful destination. We spent 5 nights in the apartment and will definitely return. "

"Parking is very confusing- and it is extremely difficult to park in front of the property. Might be best to find a garage first and then take trips to unload. No issues if you take a taxi to the place. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay in Porto. "

"Great location. Toilet had issues where you had to wiggle the lid to get the water to work all the time. While we stayed there there was construction going on regularly starting pretty early on the morning. That was quite annoying. Waking up to hammers and saws is not the best feeling when you are on vacation."

"Is a great location to stay in central Porto. Central to everything. Very close to bar district. Right beside the tower in Porto making it easy to find. Place was clean and well stocked. One thing to be aware of is the elevator is small and hits only every second floor so some steps are required. It's not located directly on a street that has car access. Driving in Porto can be a challenge so plan your route accordingly. The parking they provide might be 400 m and 300 ft in elevation...

"The hotel is located in a nice location, which is walkable to major attractions. Everything about the hotel was great. The bed was super comfortable. The only potential issue is that the room air circulation is either not on or not the best. So when opening the door, it can become noisy due to street car or motorcycle. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much."

"This is a beautiful hotel. The lobby and rooms are gorgeous and it is in a very easy area to walk many places. The bell staff even worked extra hard to repair my suitcase handle (which they did!) which was extra appreciated. Top rate staff and hotel all around. "
